Aito laid in his bed, staring at the ceiling. Feeling accomplished with the work he had done, he smiled as he thought to himself. Just then, he heard his front door creak open and one...two...three. Three people walking into his apartment. Aito had always been an observant person so it was no problem distinguishing the  number of people in the room by their steps. Who the hell is here?  Aito thought to himself for a brief moment before sitting up on his bed. He only knew one person with a spare key to his apartment and that person was Taku. That bastard must've gave someone the key or brought someo-  "Aito, get your ass out here. I need you to talk to someone." Aito's thought was interrupted with the booming of Taku's voice.

"I swear to god Taku, I'm gonna strangle you," Aito yawned, walking out of his room as he looked up and saw two men behind Taku. Aito studied them for a brief minute, they were the typical business-mafia men; black suits, tattoos, and overall an intimidating demeanor. "Who's this?"

"Someone I thought you should meet, these fine gentlemen have a proposal for you" Taku grinned, Aito knew something was up with the look Taku was giving him.

"We heard you were in the underground business and thought we'd stop by and check out what we're working with," the taller of the two men spoke up, "Name's Kenji, and this is Buck, we recruited him from America. He dabbles in that quirk manufacturing stuff you do."

"No, no, no. you got it wrong, I certainly am  not in the 'underground business' I'm not associated with it and I don't intend to be. If a villain comes to me I help them if they can pay." Aito corrected Kenji, he didn't know why but Aito hated the fact that Kenji assumed he'd be in the "underground business." The Underground Business is the street lingo used to address Lapis Lazuli Industries(LLI). LLI is not some business that actually works with Lapis like the name suggests. LLI is an illegal organization that is wanted at punishable-by-death degrees. They're known for handpicking scientists that work with quirks and recruiting them to work for LLI and manufacture some of the most dangerous human weapons in the world. Aito didn't know why, but he hated that it was assumed his upbringing in his illegal business was from LLI. He hated that Kenji was assuming he couldn't do it on his own, or maybe Aito was thinking too deep into the situation. This asshole thinks I can't do it on my own, does he? He thinks I need help. He thinks it's all because of LLI. He thinks-

"Then, how would you like to be recruited by the underground business?" Aito's thoughts were interrupted by Buck, "We could always use someone like you. Taku here has told us about what you've been working on and we'd like to take it off your hands for you. We'd pay a hefty price."

Aito's head whipped around to Taku's direction, his face growing red with anger. "Taku, you bastard. You told these guys what I've been working on?" Aito looked like he was about to rip Taku in two with his teeth.

"Relax Aito, they're interested in your work. They even offered to buy it on behalf of the ceo of LLI. They are sent directly from him." Taku was trying to calm Aito down before he made a scene. "LLI wants to recruit you."

"They want my work. Not me." Aito looked at Kenji and Buck and smiled, "Thanks for the offer but go tell your boss that she's not for sale."

"She? Aito, what the hell are you talking about?" Taku was visibly confused, and so were Buck and Kenji.

"I didn't tell you? We just found out about the baby's gender" Aito smiled.

"Aito, you're not making any sense. What the hell are you talking about? start from the beginning," Taku had no idea what Aito was talking about.

Aito sighed. "I guess what you didn't tell these gentlemen-" realization had hit Aito "Oh hell. I didn't tell you. I found a surrogate for the experiment." Aito was beaming

                                                                      To Be Continued...
