hello. im a nervous wreck who is now afraid to voice my opinion. funny huh? now that i got the neighbourhood on blast in my room, im fine now. might cry tho.

anyways i wanted to talk about CA in kpop as it has gotten way worse.
as a black stan i am very scared to openly like a group now due to this issue and our society and its viciousness. its very stressing to me and when i saw that this book exists still i literally panicked cuz i felt like the whole world of ppl who read this mUST hate me at least a little.

anyways so let me state my opinions.

before i proceed i would like to say i agree with where everyone is coming from but i wanted to state my opinions since this is an opinions book. im terribly scared but i just wanted to say it.
you are allowed to get mad and rant in the comments. that is if u are actually mad. but yes.

so im gonna start off with my first opinion.

CA isnt CA anymore.
literally ppl changed the meaning of it. it really means "Making fun of or insulting a culture that is not theirs". now its just "IF BLACK PPL WEAR IT UR CANCELLED" (other races too but they rlly do be targeting black culture tho). its almost like saying "korean ppl cant make music cuz black ppl made it" music is universal, can we stop gatekeeping every single damn thing plz its getting old and annoying.
us jamaicans are the literal gatekeepers of rap and dreadlocks and yall saying its african american. plz stop. us jamaicans arent making a big fuss over the dreads and reggae music being used. what gives yall the right?

for those who didnt know, the original first rap beat was made in jamaica and then americans made it their own. we have reggae and dancehall so we arent that mad but...the locks bro? dreadlocks? rastafarianism? its been jamaica's thing years and when i saw Kai in dreads i felt no way. i was happy he wore it and i was happier when kokobop was kinda reggae like. i thought he just liked the hairstyle and wore it. but that aint the case since sm likes to do what THEY want with their outfits and their hairstyles. it doesnt make any sense to come after him now. cuz its not his doing in the end.

and CA is taken out of proportion in my eyes. because the ppl who are famous, well known or popular in kpop. they get targeted the most. like the real ppl like owen ovadoz (he refused to support blm and openly hates white women and fetishizes black women) and san e (i forgot what he did but lets just say hes racist asf) and shit arent getting cancelled just as bad as how yall framed yoongi for being supposedly racist by using a creative expression of an anti korean AND anti black person in his song. bro plz kendrick lamar and kanye west did smth like that too. and CA is disrespect. not just wearing what isnt urs. its not like Lisa wore the box braids and talked shit about it. if she did she would have to ACTUALLY apologize. THATS when u can say idols are to apologize. on jah ppl have confused the meaning of it. this is why i stayed away from all of this shit and just stanned SVT. stream home run and spider for clear skin biss.

i have two points.
- i must state tho that NCT shouldnt necessarily apologize and SM should, since the idols have no say in their outfit choices. SM does no research and doesnt care. PLUS IF THEY DONT EVEN LISTEN TO OUR COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE MISTREATMENT OF THEIR IDOLS FROM THEIR STAFF OR FROM BATSHIT CRAZY SASAENGS THEN U REALLY EXPECT THEM TO HEAR OUR COMPLAINTS AND APOLOGIZE??? YOU? FUNNY.
- i  have an assumption that SM just sees whatever is trendy in the western industry and plops it on the idols and call it a day. THIS MAN IS MAKING A WHOLE VR CAFE FOR FANS OF THE IDOLS AS IF THESE PPL ARENT LIVING AND BREATHING HUMANS. he is a sick and toxic man just wanting to make money off of ppl who look better than him by far. BYE NOT YALL EXPECTING HIM TO HAVE SENSE 😂😂😂😂

(blackface was also used as a way of mocking black ppl and making jokes about how black they are and how they act. GD just lip synced to his own song. plz do ur research. jackson doing it was also weird asf but he wasnt mocking us either. he loves us probably more than his own race and he shows us that everyday)
and if ur talking about his hair, he loves cornrows and stuff and likes the hairstyle. he doesnt mock us or anything. hes just trying to spread his message in his music and style and move on with his life. this man is in a relationship with jennie, hes in his 30s and left the military hearing his youngest member is gone and is in a huge life changing midlife crisis scandal and his other member was in jail for smoking weed and getting caught. and he has a modeling career and shoe line going on for him rn. CA is least of his problems simply cuz he knows his intentions were innocent. and yall only coming after him for his creative expression which he is used to ppl doing to him. he simply doesnt care cuz he knows he did nttn wrong, and if he did he would apologize hun. plz move on.
(i realize that our generation bullies celebs to apologize and when they do u either go "oh im not reading that" or u dont even accept that apology. bruh if its a shitty one then yh get mad but if its a long one that u wanted from the heart, WHY ARE U MAD?)

idk what she did. but tiktok stans are no help cuz they exaggerate alot so can someone tell me what she said about black ppl or women. she mocked us im hearing? what? chile...last time i heard someone mocked us is when mark and johnny was tryna talk like steph curry. and that was trying to imitate him, not black ppl on a whole. cancel jaehyun, he said the n word and ppl were tryna protect him saying "oh he knows what it means cuz hes american" THATS THE POINT??? i never trusted that man the day i saw him. think outside the box here. look from their pov before anyone elses before u grasp an opinion. cuz when u hear a persons pov before urs, their pov is gonna be all u see.

anyways idk if thats all i have left to say. but can someone tell me what stray kids did besides bang chan innocently saying he wanted to wear DUTCH BRAIDS, and yall went "cOrn RowS" he wore it cuz he liked it. plz stop assuming the worst. and also hearing han jisung saying the n word in their song but removed it and chan put ninjas instead. and i aint forget when ppl thought that saying ninjas was respectful.
