Hello! I do not own any of the characters of One Piece, they are all created by Eiichiro Oda. The plot of this story was originally created by me.

The Town Dance is finally here. Today was the day. I haven't been to a dance in a while, so this had been very exciting for me. Although, the dance hadn't started in several hours, and I still had no clue what I was going to wear.

At this moment, I am sitting on my bed in my violet pajamas and FaceTiming a very good friend of mine, Nami. She was sitting in her room trying to put her orange hair into this style. It hasn't been too long since she and I spoke, but her hair is already getting longer. As she messed around with her hair, I had begun telling her about the town dance.

"A town dance?" Nami asked, "Are you kidding me?! I've been wanting to experience one of those things forever! But of course, as soon as I leave, one finally takes place? That's bull shit." Nami then let out a groan and undid the tiny bun that her hair had been in. "Dammit, why isn't my hair cooperating?!"

I giggled as my friend threw a fit. "Seems like someone isn't having the best day so far, fufufu," I laughed, "Just take deep breaths, Nami. But, yes, there is a town dance. I really do wish you were here for it. All of us 'Straw Hats' would be able to go together. Although, even if you were here, some of the others are busy. I actually haven't spoken to many of them, besides Zoro, Luffy, and Sanji since summer break started. I actually miss it before summer break started."

"Yeah," Nami sighed as she brushed her hair, "Oh, how are things with Law? Everything going alright?"

I nodded my head and laid back in my bed. "Yes, of course," I said, "Just... I don't know. Something is missing in my life, and in the relationship. Each day I wish for something more exciting to happen with Law and me. All we do is go on little dates at the cafe and hang out and watch movies. Nothing that exciting."

"What about Zoro? How are things with him?" Nami shot me an evil smirk as she said that. I hesitated to speak, but Nami said, "Your face got super pink real quick. Alright come on, tell me," before I could even respond.

"It's nothing," I laughed, "He and I are friends. Why would we be anything more than that?" Although, I know I hated to admit that. Especially after we had practiced dancing together that one time... There was some sort of connection between us. A sort of connection that I couldn't explain. Like, it felt as if everything else in the world had stopped, and it was only us. Oh, how I longed to crash my lips into his.

"I don't know," Nami laughed, "I'm just messing with you. Don't take it seriously. Although, your face did get pretty red."

I rolled my eyes and shook my head. "Whatever you say. Anyways, I need to go to the store and find myself a dress to wear for the dance. I haven't even picked a dress out yet! Bye!"

Nami smiled and said, "Okay, just make sure you send me a picture of what you're wearing, alright? Bye!" I nodded my head to show that I understood and hung up the call. After hanging up, I went to messages and clicked on Zoro's contact.

To: Roronoa Zoro
Hey there! Are you ready for the dance tonight?

From: Roronoa Zoro
Shit. I completely forgot about that.

To: Roronoa Zoro
Of course, you did, fufufu. Well, make sure that you have something nice to wear, like a tuxedo, alright?

From: Roronoa Zoro
Right, a tuxedo... uh, I don't think I have one of those weird things. Do you have one?

To: Roronoa Zoro
No, I don't. Hmm, maybe go to the store and buy one before the dance starts. It starts at 8:00 p.m., so I think you have plenty of time to go and do that.
