Hello! I do not own any of the characters of One Piece, they are all created by Eiichiro Oda. The plot of this story was originally created by me.
I kissed her. I actually did it. The feeling of her lips on mine filled me up with joy.
Robin slowly pulled away from the kiss, her cheeks all pink, and smiled. It had been like she and I were the only ones on the Earth right now. Had this been a dream? Was this actually real? But then, Robin looked surprised and confused, and she pulled away out of my arms, a frown forming on her face. "We can't..." she said, "Zoro. Oh my god. We just cheated."
Shit. I forgot cheating had been a thing. "Right. Sorry," I sighed.
Robin looked down at her feet and shook her head. "I'm so stupid," she laughed, slapping her forehead, "God." She looked up at me and I stepped forward to comfort her, but she took a step back. "I'm going to go. This was a bad idea, Zoro."
"Listen, can't we talk about this?" I asked, hoping she would say yes and stay. But Robin just shook her head and ran off. I ran after her as quickly as I could, pushing through the crowd of dancing people. Actually, now that I think about it, she has nowhere to go. I had picked her up and brought her here.
When I reached her, she had been by my car, running her hands through her hair stressfully. She looked up at me and sighed, taking her hands away from her messed-up hair. "Please bring me home," she sighed.
"Not before we talk," I said, smirking. She raised one eyebrow at me and rolled her eyes. I unlocked the car for her and she got in the front seat, and I set next to her in the driver's seat. As she buckled herself in, I said, "I'm sorry. I wasn't thinking and... Well, I was just caught up in the moment, you know? It seemed as if you were too, though."
There was a moment of silence as Robin stared out the window and refused to look my way. "Maybe," she mumbled, "But I really don't understand what you want to talk about. There's nothing to be said. I think that we just forget this happened and move on."
I shook my head in disbelief and laughed. She wants to just forget that happened? Women make no sense at all. "That's bullshit," I laughed, "We can't just forget that happened."
"We have to, Zoro!" Robin said, "We both are in a relationship. You can't just forget about Tashigi and I can't just forget about Law, okay? I like Law, and you like Tashigi. We can't just forget that they are a part of our lives. So, let's just forget that ever happened, alright?"
But I really like you. That's all I wanted to say to her, but I knew she wouldn't say the same. Not because she may not feel that way about me, but because she's with Law, and she's convinced herself that she really likes him. "Alright," I sighed, "I'll get you home then, I guess."
Robin nodded her head then stared out the window again, avoiding looking my way.
When we arrived back at her house, she got out of the car, thanked me for giving her a ride, then left me without saying another word. She's driving me insane. I can't stop thinking about her. I might as well tell Tashigi what I did though. I might as well end things, actually. It'll crush her if I keep that secret from her and never say anything, especially if she finds out from someone else.
I drove back home, listening to some weird station on the radio. As I arrived home, I got a text from Nami.
