Dabi's POV

"Hey, do you have any suggestions?," I asked Yomo as he put away the books that were borrowed.

"Depends. What are you looking for specifically?," He stood up from crouching down and looked at me.

"I don't know. Something painful but romantic?," I smirked at him.

He thought about it for a few seconds then clicked.

"Ah! Y/N was reading a book with something like that the other day. Lemme find it for you," He shuffled through the stack of books and once he found it, he handed it to me.

"That should be what you're looking for," Yomo walked back to the front counter and sat in his chair.

"Mhm~ She read this?," I mumbled to myself heading towards the chair in the back.

'They left this cruel world,' I read the last sentence in my head.

"Huh, if only," I scoffed to myself and headed towards the entrance of the building.

"Imma take this with me and read it again at home," My fingers did a little gesture and left, leaving the bell at the door, ring.

I walked across the street and turned corners. I wandered in my thoughts for a while and headed to my apartment. Arriving at the location, I walked up the multiple flight of stairs. As I walked up, I saw a figure crouching in front of my door. It was her.

"Y/N! What are you doing here?," I walked up to her and I bent to my knees. She was crying.

I lifted her head up gently, to mine, using my fingers to lift her chin. I saw her red, puffy eyes look at me. A tear dropped from her the side of her eye, onto her cheek. I lifted my index finger to stop the tear from going any farther.

"C'mon, let's go inside," I got up and reached my hand out for her.

She took my hand into hers and gripped it while getting up from the concrete floor. I unlocked the door and with her still holding my hand, I led her in first.

"Y/N, take a seat. I'll go get us some water. Did you need tissues?," I asked her, letting go of her hand.

Her head shook 'yes' and I went to the kitchen to grab the necessities.
