I honestly have no clue what Im even looking at. My neighbor calls it a "pet" but It was litterally fucking godzilla.

Well thats it for living in this building anymore. Im not risking getting murdered by that thing in my sleep. Im packing my bags. As long as that bug creep still lives down the hall, im not coming back. Id honestly rather sleep in an alley that with that thing. You know what, Id rather die.

It was my biggest weakness. Ever since I was little, I had been deathly afraid of bugs. Like not your normal "get it out of my house afraid", no it was ten times worse. It was more like a "Im going to pass out" kinda thing. And the worst part of it was that it was an irrational fear. The kinda stupid shit that everyone remembers and brings back to haunt you.

At this point, I was out the door. I knew my only option was to stay at Joes. But how would I explain that. Its not like I could walk up to his house and be like. " Yo, The guy who lives next to me just got a pet fucking beetle and im litterally going to have a heart attack i hate bugs so much can i stay at your house for like a week until it dies." That might be the stupidest thing ive ever heard. No way I could just do that. I guess I just have to resort to my next best skill.

I pull my phone out of my pocket, sheilding it from the harsh rain and pull up his contact.

" Ayo four eyes, whats up"

" Well, I may have dropped my house key in the middle of the road and now I cant get into my house."

" Dont you have a spare?"

" Nope, never did. Thats what fools like you do cause you know your gonna lose them."

" Well i guess you can stay here until you get a new one, It shouldnt do much harm. ALSO I AM NOT A FOOL- IM JUST SMART SO I HAVE AN EXTRA."

It was my fifth night at his house. I need to leave soon, but I dont want to. Especially if I dont know if the neighbors pet is gone now. Just thinking of it made me get the creeps. I shifted down, pulling the blanket further up my face.

I spoke up, forming another lie.

" yknow, the key was supposed to come today. I guess it got lost in the mail. I'll order a new one tomorrow morning."

" Is that so, guess you'll just have to stay here for another day."

" Don't act like thats a good thing."

" Oh its not? I almost though for a second you wanted to stay her forever. Maybe move in."
