Annabeth's POV

The mansion was any girl's dream. It was five stories tall, approximately 11,000 square feet, built like the Athena Parthenon with a modern twist. Or maybe it's just an Athena child's dream, but I loved it nonetheless!

When everyone was done gaping at this gorgeous structure, we rushed inside to examine the interior.

Basement - Boy's hangout

Ground floor - Garage, Kitchen, Living room, Dining room, Outdoor patio leading to backyard

Second floor - Boy's rooms

Third floor - Girl's rooms

Fourth floor - Gym, Art room

Fifth floor - Girl's hangout

The backyard was complete with a garden, pool, amphitheater, and fireplace. Each of our rooms was decorated to fit our personal desires, along with balconies to enjoy the wonderful view. We also had electronic devices invented by Hephaestus himself to ward off monsters. This truly was exciting! I can't wait to see Percy tomorrow at school.

Travis's POV

The mansion was beautiful. But you know what's even more beautiful? Katie Gardner. Everyone at camp knows I like her, though I'd never admit it. The way her golden-brown hair shines in the sunlight, her forest-green eyes glitter, and each of her freckles perfectly sprinkled on the bridge of her nose, how could I not be in love with her?

My daydreaming was broken by Katie coming walking over to me and saying "This is so awesome!" Her brilliant smile was enough to make someone go blind.

I stuttered "Uh, yeah! You too!" I bit my tongue and resisted the urge to facepalm. Gods, I was so stupid. Katie looked at me funny and laughed. Phew, close one.

"I'm going to go check out my room." She said, breaking the silence and going upstairs.

"Heh, yeah. Have fun!" I mentally cursed my awkwardness.

"Dude, you're blowing it." My brother, Connor taunted me.

I sighed. "She probably thinks I'm a loser.

"Yeah, I can see why. Hey, wanna go set up some pranks?"

"Anything to get Katie off my mind." I agreed. Pranks always cheered me up.

"Great! You go distract Katie while I get things set up." He patted me on the back and left in a hurry to go get some supplies. Distract Katie? I had a gut feeling that this wouldn't end well, but walked up to Katie's room anyway.

Okay, Travis, you got this. Just walk up to the door and knock on it. Not that hard.

I didn't walk. I didn't knock. My feet were frozen in place. I stood there like an idiot for I don't know how long.

Okay, so maybe this would be hard.

Leo passed me in the hall and I saw my opportunity. I caught up with him and asked "Uh hey, Leo. You're good with girls, right?"

"Is my middle name Lady's Man?" He replied.

Confused, I said "No?"

He sighed loudly. "Yes, I'll help you get with Katie if that's what you're asking."

"Great, thanks! So how do I knock on her door."

I could've sworn I heard him mutter 'amateur' under his breath. "It's easy," he said "Walk up to her door, lean on the door frame and knock twice. When she opens the door, say 'Hey, baby girl.' And make sure to bite your lip while doing so. I'll demonstrate."
