Chapter 12-When are you two going to start dating ?

It was now a few months before Aiden and Aru got together the two of them were oblivious to one another's feelings when they spent time with one another . Aiden went to the museum to see his crush Arundhati Shah(meaning morning star). The dark curly haired boy was nervously fiddling with his dark hair while the prince of Naga Loka was eagerly waiting for his girlfriend Mini Lopez, the girl he fell in love with. "I can't wait to see Mini" he said eagerly, Aiden looked at his Pandava-adjacent- adjacent- adjacent cousin and secretly rolled his eyes. "You're always eager to see her" Aiden told him sarcastically and he rolls his eyes. When he entered the museum he was a little nervous  to see Aru and wished that he had the confidence to see her, like Rudy for Mini. "Rudy!" she ran into his arms and he said "I see someone is happy to see me". Mini gave him a kiss on the cheek and he blushed a bright red. "Get a room you two !" Aiden shouted at the two lovebirds. And Mini said sarcastically "Fine we will then" and the two of them leave the area and head off to a private area. Aiden was alone in the room with Aru, Brynne was with Hira in her house and he had to make the first move now, or regret it forever. "Hey Acharya" she said without word vomiting. "H-hey S-shah" the dark haired boy said while he was stuttering. Aiden's face was redder than a tomato "I thought we were the potatoes, betrayal!" she said sarcastically and she was giggling like a little girl. (Oh man she's so cute) Aiden thought to himself whilst he was curling his dark hair into horns. "Earth to Acharya, you ok ?" Aru asked Aiden while he was zoning out. "I'm ok Shah" he told her , though his face was still red from embarrassment. "Oh man you're beautiful" he blurted out without thinking and tried to recant what he said and Aru was blushing a bright red "Do you think so ?". Aiden said "Yeah you are" and their faces were mere inches away from one another when he backed away. "Hey Aru, can you help me with me setting something up ?" Krithika asked her daughter and told Aiden "I saw that Aiden, don't back off next time". 

"Mom!!" Aru blushed madly at her mom and so did Aiden, he was blushing even more than Aru. "Mrs. Shah!" Aiden also shouted and was even more embarrassed than his friend Aru. "I wish you didn't back off" Krithika told him and he was blushing even more than ever. "I really wish you didn't back off Amamma" Brynne saw this and she was smirking at him and the two of them. "At least your cousin didn't back off when they were about to kiss each other, speaking of which , where are they ?" Brynne asked and Aru. They went to find the other two and found them kissing each other "No PDA please !!" Aru shouted at them , but secretly was happy for the two of them. "Whoops, sorry about that you guys" Rudy said when they parted, he was a blushing mess. "Yeah, sorry Aru" Mini told Aru whilst she was also blushing at the fact they got caught. "Now that's a leap of faith" Brynne muttered to herself. Aru and Aiden heard this and he secretly moved to kiss Aru on the cheek and she blushed and they left the area, along with their friends in order to talk to each other. "I'm actually happy for you Mini, you're actually lucky that he noticed you" Aru told her and she blushed at this and she said "I saw that Aiden kissed your face". Aru blushed at this comment from her and shrugged it off as a comment from a friend "I see the way he looks at you Aru, don't deny it" Mini tells her and Aru tries to ignore this, but her face turns red at the mention of this. (Great going Aru, you'll never now if he feels the same way if you don't talk to the guy) her brain tells her. (Take a leap of faith Arundhati) her brain kept telling her and she decides to take the leap. Mini, Brynne, the twins and Rudy were watching from a distance as Aiden and Aru approach each other. "Hey Aru" he says while he's still a blushing mess. 

Aru and Aiden were just looking at each other and they were blushing and their faces were red with embarrassment. "Aren't we supposed to meet the others here ?" Aru took out her phone and saw a message 'Sorry guys were late, have fun with each other-Mini' with a smirking emoji on it and Aiden had the same message from Rudy, though it was a smiling snake. "Those sly dogs, they set us up!" Aiden shouted in realization and Aru nodded in agreement "Might as well then, want to go the park Shah ?" he asked her casually, he could feel the butterflies in his stomach. Aru said "Might as well go to the park right ?". She could feel the butterflies in her stomach and a million tiny Aru's were running around her brain at the prospect of dating Aiden. They eventually end up at the park and they walk around right next to each other looking really awkwardly at each other "So.. first time ?" he asked her. After an hour of awkward silence they walk up to a grassy knoll where they have a view of Atlanta. The 5 of them went to the park and Rudy comments "That's where I asked you to be my girlfriend Mini". Brynne looks at Mini's blushing face and she's either really annoyed or pleased at this. "Lovebirds, I swear those two compliment each other well" Brynne says in a snarky tone. "Ain't that the truth" Niki agrees only to find the two of them gone. "They probably snuck off to make out or something" Brynne muttered and they went to watch what Aiden and Aru are going to do. 

"The view's nice from here" Aiden says while he quietly proceeds to hold Aru's hand. She's internally panicking at what Aiden was doing and she's blushing madly. Brynne was secretly recording their interaction. "Yeah, not as good as you wifey" she says and he's taken aback. "I mean, never mind" she word vomits and he says "Thanks Shah, you too". They lean against one another and their faces are mere inches from each other and they... kissed. Sheela told Brynne "Draupadi loved Arjuna compared to the brothers, so in a way it's poetic". Brynne remembered that conversation and recorded the two of them kissed each other.
