I shooked my head as I regained consciousness and moved away gently from Ryujin's grip.

As she looked up to me with teary-eyed as she continued to kneel down while giving me a small smile.

'You should give her a chance'

My best friend's voice echoed in my mind again that made me shut my eyes for a moment while avoiding the soothing gazes from the alpha down on me.

Anything can't hurt, right? If this doesn't work I would move on right?

Then the image of her replaced my thinking that made me somehow felt secured by her intimidating presence that made me nod my head.
