Sade sat on the floor of her bedroom as she watched both her sibling bicker back and forth. They were helping her redo her room but her eldest sister, Kelz, couldn't help herself approach a conversation on something that happened a while ago.

"Maybe if you was actually doing what you was supposed to be doing, she wouldn't be on your ass. But you out here running the streets like you wasn't raised right"

"I go to school and do what I'm supposed to, momma just wanna open her mouth just because" Naj grumbled.

"I don't give a fuck what you was doing for real, I'm just tryna set you straight before you say something and get yo ass handed to you"

Sade shook her head as Naj threw the paint brush in the paint and stormed out the room. Kelz smacked her lips and continued to paint the wall.

Anything that was going on right now was none of Sade's business. Naj was fifteen going on twenty-one and Kelz wasn't approaching the situation right. Even if she was trying to talk some sense into their baby brother.

"You gone hang up those paintings on this wall?" Kelz asked, pointing to the painting Sade did that were stored away into boxes. She hummed and stepped down from the ladder.

"I wanna go get my bed from ikea when you done that wall"

Kelz stepped back and analyzed the wall. She was on her second coat and was half way done so Sade knew it wouldn't take her more than ten minutes to finish. "Okay"

Sade twisted her mouth to the side contemplating on whether or she should give her opinion on the situation. Sade knew how Kelz could get, she gets an attitude when things aren't going her way or it's something she doesn't personally like.

"You know.." she started, basically letting Kelz know where the conversation was headed. "I get where you was coming from, but I think you could've went about it in a different route"

Kelz smacked her lips but kept her mouth shut. Kelz was brutally honest but sometimes comes off as rude. "Naj aint a baby. he knew hat he was doing and don't give a fuck. he need to realize his actions has consequences and stop acting like he 20 when he really 15 years YOUNG!"

Sade laughed and nodded already knew she wasn't wrong she just had to let the whole thing die down and eventually forgotten about.

"Kojo said we should do a cabin kickback next month, don't ask who gone be there because you don't talk to nobody." Merra said. She sat back on Sade's head board and brushed out her hair.

"Still" Sade shrugged "I don't know nobody who y'all talk to, what if some bitch that wanted to fight was gonna be there?"

"Girl" Willow deadpanned with a straight face from across the room "nobody wanted to fight your ass since we was in elementary school, give that shit up"

Sade rolled her eyes and sulked on her vanity chair "that bitch was crazy, I didn't even what Gage musty ass foreal"

"Bruh" merra laughed almost rolling off the bed "you had it bad for that lil boy, you was following him around and everything"

"Bitch don't lie on me" Sade mumbled then turned back around to finish one of many sketches she was doing on her iPad.

Naj walked in her room then stood beside Sade without saying anything for a whole minute "Tell momma I went to Jess house"

She watched him walk out the room slamming her door "I ain't telling momma a damn thing" she mumbled under her breath.

Sade knew which battles to pick when sticking up for her brother and knowing when he dead wrong. Naj wasn't supposed to leave the house because he's grounded. She knew if she tried to stop him he wouldn't listen to her and pick a fight.

"You ain't shit" willow said shaking her head. Sade made a face then slowly turned in her chair towards one of her closest and longest friend.

"I ain't getting my ass whooped with his bad ass" she turned back around and continued with her sketch of a woman "that ass beating life ain't me, I'm a grown ass woman"

"You 19 and in college" Merra straight faced her looking up from her phone. Sade ignored her then flipped her off.

"Fuck you too"

"Erin asked what time y'all leaving tomorrow" kelz said walking into the room without looking up from her phone.

Sade didn't even acknowledge it because at this point any and everybody in the house walks in where and when they feel like without knocking.

"5" She replied. Sade turned to look at Merra to see her making a face but kept her mouth shut. She kept looking at her until she noticed.

"What" Merra held her arms out "I don't like that bitch, whatever y'all do with her ain't my business, but when I catch her ass, it's up"

"You crazy"

She nodded "yup, ain't nothing new"

Erin and Merra had some kind of beef since May of last year. They were cool until Erin randomly blocked her and put all her business on social media. Erin still had most girls on social media so they relayed what was going on to Merra.

Eventually Merra confronted her and Erin revealed that she never liked Merra and thought that she was fake. A civil conversation turned into a fight in the end.

Merra doesn't seem to think it is over because Erin was still spreading misinformation all over social media.

Sade chuckled but decided to mind her business.
