TW: assault, implied rape
"Hey, Jimin, can I ask you something?"
"Y'know how you wear skirts at home?"
A brief flash of concern appears on the younger's face. "Y-Yeah?"
"You wear them 'cause they make you feel pretty, right? So... why don't you wear one to work?"
He looks puzzled.
"Think about it," Joon cups his face in both hands, pecking his lips softly. "Why wait until you get home to feel pretty when you can feel pretty all day? It's a progressive world we're living in, Min. Nobody would say anything."
"I mean, I guess so..." Jimin mumbles, a slight blush creeping upon his face. "It'd be nice to feel like that when I'm at work..."
"You don't have to make a decision straight away." reassures the blond, smiling at him. "Just think about it."
The next morning...
"Good morning, Minnie." Namjoon greets his boyfriend with a gentle peck on the cheek as he passes him, taking the bread from the cabinet and placing a couple of slices in the toaster. A quick glance out of the corner of his eye, and he smiles. "You look really pretty."
The younger can't help but let out a little giggle, hiding his face behind his hand. "You don't have to say that, hyungie..."
"But I want to, so I will. You're gorgeous."
Once his toast pops up, Joon grabs it and quickly scrapes some butter across both slices before taking a hasty bite out of one. He kisses Jimin's cheek again, then puts both slices in his mouth as a method of holding them.
"I'll see you later, baby." he says, muffled by his mouth being full as he collects his things and rushes out of the apartment.
That night...
Namjoon's POV
I wonder where Jimin is. It's been 3 hours since his shift ended, and he still hasn't come home yet. Usually I wouldn't be worried - he might've just gone to see a friend and forgotten to text me - but he's wearing a skirt. A man, wearing a typically-feminine piece of clothing, out in public in a conservative country. I know we're living in an ever-progressing world, but that doesn't stop me feeling a little anxious.
Then again, why should I be worried? He's a grown man, he can look after himself. He's got street smarts, knows where is and isn't particularly safe to be, and he's self-aware. I should relax and stop worrying about it.
I just hope he's okay.
