Bzzt-bzzt!

Picking up his phone, Namjoon gives a little smile.

Crackhead Cousins

Soobin: Are you guys free this weekend? We should all meet up

A reminiscent sigh escapes his lips. Ever since he was a kid, he's been really close with his cousins. Even though he's one of the oldest, it doesn't make a difference - they're all as crazy as each other. Now he thinks about it, he hasn't seen them in a while; Christmas was the last time, and it was an absolute blast.

A few more messages come through,

Taeyeon: Hell yeah, let's do it

Seulgi: Sounds good

Dahyun: All I need is a time and a place

Felix: How about Min Café? It's right near Joon's place

before he begins to type out his own:

Joon: Min Café works. 1pm then, same as usual?

That weekend...

Arriving at Min Café, Namjoon lets a rush of warm air greet him. The bell on the door jingles as he enters, and he's instantly surrounded by the smell of freshly-ground coffee and warm muffins. He went to high school with the two co-owners, and they were a pretty tight-knit group. They stuck together for years, through thick and through thin, so he was more than happy to go to their wedding when it came around. As a result, he's one of their best customers. Half the time, he doesn't even have to pay for his food, despite him insisting that he should, and they often throw in free food for him.

"Namjoon, it's good to see you!" greets a voice from the counter, and a brown-haired, almond-eyed man smiles at him.

"Good to see you too, Jin-hyung."

"Usual table and food?"

"Actually, no. I'll take a booth, and I'm not gonna order just yet. I'm waiting on my cousins."

"Alright, well, you can take that booth over there." the man points to the corner of the café. "Just holler if you need anything."

Joon bows to him and makes his way to the table, sliding into the booth and leaning on his elbows. He places his phone on the table, then, suddenly having an idea, picks it up.

Joonie: Hey, meet me at Min Café in half an hour?

He finishes his message just as the door opens, and two of his cousins - Dahyun and Taeyeong - join him at the table.

"It's nice to finally meet up again," says the elder of the two, running her fingers through her hair. "It's been, what, 7 months since we last saw each other?"

"Feels like forever," comments the other. "How've you been, Joon?"

"Busy," Namjoon chuckles. "Lots of work to do, marking exams, dealing with homework, sorting out classes for next year. Summer break is really only for the kids, the teachers are still busy."

"I forgot you were a teacher!" exclaims a third cousin, Felix, who arrived during their conversation. "English, right?"

"Yep," Joon nods. "It's difficult, but they get there eventually."

Soon, the remaining 2 cousins - Soobin and Seulgi - arrive, and once they have, the chatter never ends. Now that everyone's here, Namjoon makes sure to wave over Yoongi - the other co-owner of the café, as well as the one who it's named after - to bring some menus, and they order.

Seulgi orders a black milk tea, Soobin takes a glass of almond milk, Taeyeon has an americano, Felix has a plain breakfast tea, Dahyun takes chocolate milk, and Namjoon orders two dalgona coffees. Call him basic, but he really enjoys them.

"Hey, Joon, what's that extra drink for?" asks Soobin, suddenly making a sassy face. "Is there someone you're not telling us about?"

"No, I just... Okay, maybe I invited someone else to join us."

"Speaking of relationships," Felix begins, cupping his hands around his drink, "apparently, everyone has a gay cousin."

Namjoon's eyes widen. The whole group falls silent, all of them looking each other up and down to try and identify the odd one out. Meanwhile, he's trying not to seem so obvious.

"So, who is it?"

"It's clearly not Namjoon." Taeyeon says, as if it's a given. "I mean, look at him. There's not an ounce of gay on this boy."

"What about you, Felix?" questions Soobin, leaning forward with a confident grin. "You seem rather... unique."

"It's not me, I swear!" Felix protests. "If anyone, it's Seulgi!"

"Bitch, are you mad?" Seulgi gives him a challenging glare. "It's clearly Dahyun."

The next 10 minutes or so are spent arguing over who's 'the gay cousin', the group only becoming quiet when a soft jingling fills the air. They all turn to look at the door, in awe at the man that's walking through it; his tight cropped tank top cuts off just above his belly button, revealing gorgeous caramel skin, and a tiny pair of shorts clings tightly to his ass and the tops of his thighs. His slender ankles are framed perfectly by his black high-tops, and he passes a hand through his beach-blond hair as he looks around.

"He's obviously gay." Soobin whispers.

Once the man catches sight of the group, he begins to make his way over, a suave smirk on his face. But instead of taking a seat in the booth, like a normal person, he makes himself comfortable on Namjoon's lap.

"Hey," Joon greets him with a soft kiss, then chuckles. "Guys, this is my fiancé, Jimin."

He spends a minute taking in their individual reactions, then shuffles up a little so Jimin can sit beside him. His hand rests on the male's thigh.

"Guess the secret's out now, huh?"
