7 • 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘴

'You better explain' Jay stomped his foot on the ground.

'Explain what?'

Chong rolled her eyes and chuckled at the hopeless boy. She knew something like this was going to happen, so she decided to just enjoy the mess.

'Heeseung hyung' Jake called out and pointed at the bloody girl now dressed in Heeseung's hoodie.

'Who do you think is that girl?' Sunoo whispered poking out of the bedroom door.

'You're too loud' Jungwon peeked above Sunoo's head.

'You're both too loud' Ni-ki spoke from behind Jungwon's shoulder.

Jay, Sunghoon, and Jake sat on the floor in front of the couch with the duo. All three of them, well six of them, were waiting for an explanation.

'Well um- I went for a walk and um-'

Chong was really enjoying it and wanted to hear more from Heeseung's fairytale.

'I've just found her like that' he pointed at Chong.

She almost bursted out laughing at his awkward explanation. All four of them eyed her with a confused face.

She blinked and realized that they are waiting for confirmation from her.

'Oh, yeah, that's exactly what happened' she tried her best.

Heeseung sighed in defeat as he knew that probably nobody bought his story. Well, technically, he wasn't wrong.

'You know that's dangerous, right?' Jay scolded his older brother.

'And what happened to you?' Sunghoon pointed at Chong's cheek.

She would lie if she said she didn't forget about the now dried-out blood on her face.

Heeseung and Chong nervously eyed themselves. He signaled her to say something on which she wanted to punch him.

He is making up stories and she is supposed to finish them. How wonderful.

'Well, I have a cat you know. Really big fat cat' she explained with her hands.

Heeseung wanted to end himself right on the couch, but he knew that he needs to suffer in order to brush it under the rug.

'Do you think they are dating?' Sunoo whispered watching the situation.

'Definitely.'

'Both of you, be quiet. But they are dating for sure' Jungwon whispered.

Suddenly, the doorbell rang which made the three maknaes fall in shock from behind the door.

Chong chuckled at them lying on the ground and arguing about who's fault it was. Heeseung face palmed himself and the three others just deeply sighed.

She guessed it was normal in their household.

Sunghoon answered the door with a confused expression on his face.

'Manger-nim? And who's that?' questioned Sunoo looking into the hallway.

Enhypen's manager and Olivia, the gang leader, entered the dorm. Chong's eyes grew wide in a shock.

She was sure she is going to murder her. Nobody from the group was supposed to see her. Especially Heeseung.

'Maybe you are asking boys why are we disturbing you so late in the night' the manager spoke and looked at shocked Chong.

Heeseung eyed the girl on his right and felt her nervousness. He felt guilty about bringing her into the dorm. After all, she was a gang member. He was worried about what they will do to her now when she got caught talking to him.

'Manger-nim, who is that lady?' Jungwon asked curiously.

'My name is Olivia and I came here to pick up my daughter, Sumin.'

Chong almost stood up and protested about Olivia's usage of her real name, but she needed to play with her. Olivia knew how much she hates her real name, and even more, the daughter camouflage, but it was the only choice for her.

'Sumin?' Heeseung whispered confused and looked at the girl next to him.

'The shot you all heard but didn't witness in the dorm was aimed at miss Cho-, I mean, Sumin.'

The five boys looked terrified and Heeseung was really concerned. He just couldn't bear someone risking his life for him.

'Olivia what are yo-' Chong was cut short by her leader.

'We came to the conclusion with the company to take these two to the restricted area until we catch the people behind this' their manager spoke.

Chong's face dropped and so did Heeseung's. The rest of the boys blinked in confusion and worry at the same time.

They hired her to watch him even if it meant her death. Why are they doing this? What was Olivia's plan?
