Heeseung was terrified.
No, he was more than that.
He jumped up to his feet not knowing what to do. He ran to the kitchen and hid behind the kitchen island. He knew it will matter of time till they find him, but he felt somehow safer there.
And then he heard the door breaking open. The sound of the shoes hitting the floor made him shiver.
But suddenly, he heard a loud thud. Like someone had passed out. Heeseung was so confused, but enough terrified to not check out his surroundings.
Again.
And again.
Exact three thuds in complete silence. However, the sound of the shoes hitting the floor could be still heard through the dorm.
As the sound became louder, Heeseung was recalling all his happiest memories in his life. He didn't even know why he did that, but he felt the need to feel happy like those times right at that moment.
Two combat boots appeared in front of him and all he could do is close his eyes and be ready for his last breath.
'Heeseung, yah, are you alright?'
The shooting female voice sang in his ears like the sweetest lullaby. His eyes shot open and slowly traveled from her boots up to meet her eyes.
'Who are you?' Heeseung asked confused.
The young female giggled and stretched her arm for him. Hesseung, still confused, accepted it and stood up.
'Like five minutes ago you were asking me for my name. I said I can't tell you' she responded and turned around to leave the kitchen.
The confused boy was now even more confused.
'Wait, you are a girl?' he almost shouted.
'Does every gang member need to be a male?' she shouted from a room that could be, according to Heeseung, most likely bathroom.
Heeseung blinked twice before he went after her. However, before he could step out of the kitchen, she appeared right in front of him inches close.
She had long burgundy-colored hair in a high ponytail, deep brown eyes with light makeup, a small nose, and heart-shaped lips with a transparent gloss on the top. She was shorter than him, but she wasn't as tiny for a girl.
'Our hair matches, that's cute' she winked at him.
The taller boy's cheeks turned red. He took a step back and tried to look behind her.
'Don't go there if you don't want to see knocked out men' she said casually.
'How did you do that?' Heeseung spoke amazed.
'Years of practice' she said and tightened her ponytail.
Heeseeung was more than amazed. He blamed himself for assuming that his guardian is a male.
'Listen, you weren't supposed to meet me. Like ever. So, now wait for the cleaning team to get those men out of here and I am out' Chong said and turned around to leave.
'Wait, don't go' he said and grabbed her by arm.
Chong turned around and looked at him. He was indeed handsome, idol material.
'I need to go back on the watch. You are dead meat if they come back' she said and removed her hand from his.
Heeseung felt bad for her. She probably stayed up there the whole night till they leave for schedule the next morning.
She walked out of the kitchen and reached the broken front door.
'Reply to my texts, please' he shouted from the kitchen.
Chong just sighed and left the dorm.

'You sure nothing happened while we were gone? You seem odd' Jay spoke to the older.
Heeseung looked up from a bowl of his ramen. Jay was just casually pouring cola into his cup.
Yes, nobody noticed anything. Heeseung himself was surprised how fast they cleaned the area and even repaired the door. It was like it never even happened.
'Yeah, nothing happened' the older replied with a smile.
He took out his phone and decided to text his guardian.
You Thank you for saving me
'Why are you smiling like a creep on that phone?' Sunoo said while entering the kitchen.
Heeseung just giggled and put his phone back in his pocket.
Who are you? How did you end up like this? These questions were ringing inside his head.
'I'll find out more about you, just wait' he thought with a cute grin on his face.
