I'm in love with a hockey player

Update on Life

It's been 1 year that we've been living together. And it's been almost 2 years we have been dating. I seriously love him. I had a lot of boyfriends in the past but they were nothing like Patrick. Patrick is amazing.
Here's another thing you should know, he had proposed to me at the beginning of the Stars and Blackhawks game since my family was there and Tyler. I was sitting in my seat when i hear my name coming from the announcer saying "Anna French, please look up at the scoreboard for a very special message." I saw a slide show of pictures of Kane and I from when we first met to now. I was surprised, I seriously didn't know what was going on. I still had my eyes on the video board when the message "Will you marry me" popped up. I was in shock. Is this real? Then it showed me on the screen. All of a sudden I hear screaming behind me, I turn around. It's Patrick on one knee and a ring inside of a box. He's in his hockey gear which made it funny. "Will you marry me?" He says into a microphone.
I start to cry and try to say yes but I just shook my head because I was crying too much. Everyone in the United Center was cheering. I love him.
The other best thing that night was that they won!
~after wedding~
The wedding was great. We had all of our family, friends, the Blackhawks, and even some other NHL players that wanted to come. The wedding cake was white with red and black stripes and the topper was a bride and groom in a Blackhawk jersey. It turned out great. The decor, cake, dress, just the whole wedding was perfect.
~2 months after wedding~
Its been 2 months since I got married to my best friend. Just other day I was feeling sick so I went to the hospital. Guess what... I'm pregnant. It's a boy!

We had named our little baby boy, John Patrick Kane. It's Jonathan's first name because he's been there for both of us through hardest times. Also Jonathan is the godfather of John! Life has been treating us we'll and we plan on having another kid soon.
