Chapter 4

The three stared at the long roll of parchment, slightly afraid of what they might find if they read it. It the end, it was Hermione who picked it up and started reading it aloud:

"Lord Harry James Potter-Black Heir to Gryffindor-Slytherin-Peverell, also called-"

"Wait, what?!" interrupted Harry.

Hermione looked at him as if he was stupid before shaking her head.

"It does make sense you know. Only a descendent of Gryffindor, be it by magic or by blood, could wield the Sword of Gryffindor. You defeated Voldemort, who was the last living heir of Slytherin, and thus, without any other possible heir, you became the heir. And if I remember well, Gaunt is the only known line descending directly of Slytherin and Peverell marries in the Gaunt line. The Gaunt's don't have any Lordship to be claimed anymore but the Peverell's do. So it all makes sense. Now let's continue."

She took a deep breath.

"Also called Alexander Saahira —apparently we did something right when we made that Vow. Spells placed upon his person are a few Loyalty and Trust Compulsion Charms keyed to Molly, Arthur, Ron, Ginny, the Light Side, Gryffindor, and of course, Dumbledore. There is also a Loyalty Compulsion Charm for the Dursley's. Distrust and Hate Compulsion Charms keyed to Severus Snape, the Malfoys, Slytherin in general, the Dark Side and Voldemort. Then there is a Binding Spell upon your magic, 40% percent is bound. There are also a few times where you were spelled with a modification of the Obliviate Spell. It is different in the sense that instead of destroying the memory, which would leave a blank space and is thus suspicious, the spell puts a false memory on top of the one you want to hide, which is almost unnoticeable even when you know it's there.

Finally, the potions. There is a Controlling and Gratefulness Potion keyed to Dumbledore, which only started after the night you almost destroyed his office, you were apparently starting to become to uncontrollable and not grateful enough for all Dumbledore has done for you. Then, there are two Lust Potions, one that would give you lust towards females and one keyed specifically to Ginny. There are also a Recklessness and Selflessness Potions keyed to situations with Voldemort involved. And of course there is a Love Potion keyed to Ginny Weasley. That's all."

"That's all?!! THAT'S ALL!!? Are you bloody kidding me?! That is enough to make me a completely different person! I've probably never been myself! I'll kill them! I'll even revive Albus fucking Dumbledore to kill him all over but with a bit of extra suffering! And-" Harry rant, his magic escaping his control and whirling around him, but was quickly cut of by his friend.

"I didn't mean it like that and you know it. All I meant by that statement was that I had finished reading." At that he gave her a sheepish smile but she ignored him and continued speaking: "Now, Bill, if you aren't too exhausted I would appreciate it if you could do the same for me? Then we'll do the cleansing tomorrow because you'll obviously be to tired to do it now."

Bill grinned at that, coming out of his daze at finding out what his family and the esteemed so called Light Lord had done to the people he considered his surrogate brother and sister.

"Don't worry, I'm fine after this little rest. Also, it won't be I who will do the cleansing, I'm not powerful enough for that, the Goblins will do it, for a fee of course. Besides, they have the ritual room and all the tool you'll need. Now, enough of that. Hermione, come stand here and let's do it."

Hermione's inheritance came as a surprise since she apparently came from a squib branch of the House of Lestrange, which made her the Lady and Head of the House until she married in which case the second title was given to her husband.
