Eternally Yours

Chapter 1

"Hey Kagami!" Adrien yelled as he got out of his car.

"Hi Adrien, you ready for fencing practice today, maybe today you'll finally beat me." Kagami said with a little smile and a hint of laughter in her voice.

Adiren and Kagami reached the door as Gorilla and Mrs. Tsurugi sped off. There was a piece of paper stuck to the door. It said:

Fencing practice cancelled today, family emergency. We will resume as normal next week.

Adrien couldn't believe his luck, Ivan had just texted him asking him if he could come hang out at the Couffaine's ship.

"Well I guess I better tell my mother to pick me up" said Kagami as she started to pull out her phone.

"Hold up - don't call her yet!" yelled Adrien as he grabbed her wrist, stopping her from hitting the call problem.

"What do you mean? My mother would be furious if she found out that practice was cancelled and I didn't come straight home and I know your father would as well" said Kagami with an air of superiority.

"But they don't HAVE to know. Kagami, when was the last time you had any free time to just hang out with friends?"

Kagami didn't respond.

"That's what I thought, you're coming with me" said Adrien, grabbing her hand and pulling her in the direction of the ship.

When they arrived at the ship, the first thing Adrien saw was Luka with his arm around Marinette. Adrien wasn't sure why, but seeing that made him so jealous and upset. He knew it wasn't fair to feel that way as he was in love with someone else - Ladybug. Adrien wasn't proud of it, but when he saw Marinette and Luka, he put his arm around Kagami. At that moment, Marinette looked up and locked eyes with Adrien and she smiled. Then, however, she saw Kagami and her face fell. Adrien instantly felt bad for bringing Kagami without asking. He had thought that Kagami and Marinette were friends after playing that friendship day game together, but maybe they had a fight that they hadn't told him about. Maybe he was making them both uncomfortable by bringing her.

But as Adrien opened his mouth to ask what's wrong, he noticed that Marinette was smiling again. Maybe he just imagined her being upset?

He didn't have much time to mull it over, however as at that moment Marinette walked (or should he say stumbled?) over to him and Kagami.

"Hi Adrien, it's great that you have to bring someone with you to go out - I- I mean it's great that you two found a way to hang out with us" stammered Marinette.

"Hey Marinette, I didn't know you and Luka were dating," said Adrien.

"Yeah- wait no we're not dating," replied Marinette, blushing.
