The girl stood frozen, eyes wide open, not believing what she is witnessing now.
A kid's dead body laying on the cold floor. Head and body completely apart as fresh blood ran down like a waterfall.
Hearing the girl's scream, everyone's attention went towards her.
"Yumi"
"Ms. Lee"
The two detectives ran up to her with few cops following them.
"Yumi what's- oh my god". Aera gasped loudly, as she covered her mouth with the help of her hands.
Hyunjin crouched down towards the body but, immediately stood cause of the smell which was spreading in the air.
"Take this body too, and try to find information about who's child it is". Hyunjin said to one of the cop as the cop nodded.
"Sir there's a village near by, should we ask there?". Asked a female cop.
"Yeah sure". Hyunjin answered.
"How can someone be so cruel to kill a child this way". Aera said, disbelief at the sight she is facing.
Two cops drove towards the village, as again others became busy with their work.
While, Yumi stared at the rough road with pool of blood on top. Her eyes roamed, as she noticed something shiny under the same bush.
She crouched down and her hands roamed under the bush, when she felt something hard.
Sliding her hand out of the bush with a unknown hard thing on her hand, she saw a ring.
A weird silver ring with black linings in middle, and a red ruby on top with a letter 'D', aesthetically written.
She squinted her eyes and scanned the ring, for some reason the ring looked familiar, she tried to think and think, when a big wave of reality hit her.
Her eyes widened in shock, as her hands shivered when she recognised the ring.
She completely recognised the shape, color, design and everything.
