chapter eight

Yeosang's pov.

I heard everything what father said to Joong.

I followed him when he walked with the soldiers out of the castle.
I don't wanted to let him alone.
I knew that father would be mad at me when I follow Joong.

It was in the middle of the night and I didn't knew why but I was a bit scared.

They walked to the beach near the cliffs and I didn't knew why they walked to the cliffs.
The cliffs are a good hiding place but it's obviously not the best, so why would someone hid there?

What does Joong wanted?
He can't kill the pirates and he knew it, he doesn't has the ability to do it.

I walked closer to them when someone pulled me back and put his hand over my mouth.
My heart was beating so fast and I was scared.

The person walked with me to an old house, where no one lives anymore.

„I'm really sorry but it's dangerous to follow these soldiers..." I turned around and rolled my eyes.
„You don't know anything...I'm the prince...wait you're a pirate?"
He chuckled and nodded.

„I'm Seonghwa." His eyes sparkled in the darkness.
He was nervous.
„Don't say that you're afraid that I'll kill you?"
„You're the prince."

„I don't kill people and I'm also not allowed to do it because I'm not the crown prince and my brother doesn't married yet."
„Oh wow. I'm so stupid but please don't tell your brother that you met me."

„he won't kill you because he even helped a stranger with his bullet wound."
His eyes widened and he bit onto his lip.

„He helped Mingi?"
„You know him?"
„Yes, we're friends since a few years..."

I nodded and I heard footsteps.
I grabbed his wrist and we walked deeper into the house and hid us in the basement.
It was dark and dusty.

„Do you know this building?"
„I played here with my brother when we were younger."
He nodded and my hands were shaking and his too.

„Are you sure that here's someone?" I heard Joong saying and my heart raced faster.
„I definitely heard someone." A soldier said and they came closer to the stairs.

Seonghwa pulled me closer and put his hand over my mouth.
„pssshhht." I nodded and laid my head on his chest.

„Are you really that stupid? Who would go in a house like this? It's not even suitable for a hiding place and did I give you the task to go into the house? no!" Joong was very mad and I heard them going away.

I took a deep breath and Seonghwa too.

„You really know this building well." I nodded and he smiled.
„Thank you."
„Why? I also was in danger."
We both laughed and stood up.

We went upstairs and he smiled softly.
„You're very friendly...oh what's your name?"
„I'm Yeosang."
„Then Yeosang I hope we'll see us again."
I nodded and he went out of the house.

I sighed and smiled.
He was so friendly for a pirate. And I also hope to see him again.

„Yeo!" I looked up directly into Joong's face.
„I'm sorry I don't wanted to follow you."
„I need your help. Good that you're here."

He pulled me with him and gave me a sword.

„We need to fight. Some people attacked us."

I hold the sword and I was so nervous.
The sweat pearls dropped from my forehead and I sighed.

I went closer to the soldiers and saw them fighting against some people, maybe pirates.
I got attacked and looked directly into his eyes.
My hands were shaking and he bit onto his lip.
„I don't want to fight." He nodded but he couldn't stop.

„I'm sorry Yeosang."
I fought with him and I wasn't good with the sword and a soldier pushed me away before Seonghwa could push the sword into my stomach.

The soldiers got attacked and I couldn't do anything.
I looked at Joong who had a problem with another pirate and on the stature it was definitely Mingi but why did they fought when they know each other?

„STOP!" I screamed and everyone stopped for a moment.
I stood up and threw my sword on the ground.
„I don't want to fight! I just want to go home and to sleep. Do you all think that it's a good idea to kill people?"
I shook my head and Joong was nervous.
He put his sword away and pulled me into his arms.

I began to sobbing and he sighed.
„I'm sorry Yeo, I know that you're too young to fight." I looked at him and he was nervous.
