Period cramps may still torture but you weren't planning to sit around all day like a damsel in distress. Yesterday's occurrence made the team worried sick, even Kita wanted to call a doctor for you.
Truthfully, you were embarrassed for drawing too much attention to your monthly bleeding. So to assuage the talk, you worked hard to assist everyone on the last day of training camp although your body was deteriorating like a ninety year old granny with back problems.
"[surname], can I take a look at your notes about our scores? I want to brief the team before the next match," asked coach Yamiji.
"Oh. Here."
You picked up the book on the floor and passed it to him.
"I didn't get to properly summarize yesterday's matches but I've organized the scores into a table for every team we had practice with."
"That's all right, you don't have to push yourself. Today is the last day after all. You just sit down if you're feeling sick."
He walked away with your book in hand, flipping the pages as he read.
"[surname]-san, We've filled the water bottles for you. Eh, I mean for the team," said Onaga who was coming with Anahori.
"Thank you, Onaga, Anahori. I really appreciate the help."
"Please let us know if there's anything else we can do."
Anahori nodded, "Oh, Kita-san gave me these medicines for you."
"Gosh, everyone is still treating me like a pregnant lady," you took the medicines from him, "Thank you so much, that will be all I need. I'm okay with—"
"Watch out!"
Someone shouted from the court as a stray ball rocketed to your head, which you barely had the time to see it coming.
Akaashi stretched his hand in one swift movement and caught the ball one-handed. He glanced over his shoulder, focusing on you.
"You okay?"
"Yeah. Thanks..."
"I didn't even see that ball. [surname]-san could have been really hurt," said Onaga.
"She's fine now," Akaashi smiled, "You're fine."
He bounced the ball back to the sender with a shove. His smile had worn off. He glared at the silver-haired twin that received his ball.
"Please be cautious. Our manager has not fully recovered. The last thing she needs is a collision in the head."
Osamu nodded, "Of course, I'm sorry."
He took a second glance at you before resuming his practice with the boys.
"Nice catch, Akaashi."
Said Bokuto, walking with Konoha and Komi behind him.
"The White Knight always comes to the rescue. Isn't that right, Princess?" Konoha referred to you.
"What are you on about Konoha-san."
He shrugged with a teasing grin.
"Let's focus on the game," Akaashi interrupted.
He looked at Bokuto who's nibbling the tip of his water bottle like a pacifier, observing the conversation thoroughly.
"Are you doing fine, Bokuto-san?"
"I'm good! Man, I'm excited for today's closing. Tsumu said there will be a picnic in the afternoon. You know what that means?" he grinned.
"FOOD! FOOD! FOOD!"
