Chapter 1

*Ashton's POV*

I took in a deep breath as I walked into the school, ready to start college, but still, all I could think about was Lucas.

I looked toward the registration desk and to my surprise, I saw a guy that actually looked a lot like Lucas from behind. I knew I must have just been missing him too much, because there is no way he would have chosen NYU... Unless... Is he here to get a degree in music? That's the only reason I could think of him being here. But.. I doubt that it is him.

"Lucas Hemmings..." The lady said to the guy and he nodded, letting her know that she said the correct name.

It is Lucas..

"Okay, you're in Dorm 340. Here's the directions." The lady said and gave some papers and a key to Lucas.

I wanted to run up to him and hug him, and tell him that I love him, and that I was so happy to see him, but I had to get registered and get my stuff too. So, I walked up to the registration desk.

"Ashton Irwin.." I said simply to the lady, but I was distracted from her because I was watching Lucas walk away.

"Ashton.. Ashton..Hellllllo, ASHTON!" The lady kept repeating my name, trying to get my attention.

"Oh, sorry." I said and directed my attention to her.

"Here's your schedule and your key, and directions to your dorm." She said and gave the papers and key to me.

As I walked, I was looking at my papers. I'm in dorm 342... What did she say Lucas's dorm number was? 430? I don't know. I just wish I was at least close to him.

I sighed and walked into my dorm, and I set my stuff down, without looking up, but as soon as I did, I widened my eyes when I saw who my room mate was.

"Oh.. No.. No no no no. Not you! Anyone but you!" I yelled and ran out of the dorm.

*Luke's POV*

As soon as I put my stuff down and saw my room mate I immediately ran out of my room and back to the registration desk.

This can NOT be happening! He can NOT be my room mate! What the hell is he even doing at NYU?
