Since we started dating, I was a lot more cautious about how I looked. I took out my special tinted lipbalm and patted it on my lips. I tied my hair up but left  a wavy strand falling on the sides to frame my face.
Hermione smiled at me as I walked out of the bathroom.
I felt conscious all of a sudden.
"What?" I said " Do I look bad?" I started tucking my hair back into my ponytail when She replied, "No! You look great." And stopped me and said,"Go!"
I smiled at her and walked out of the girl's common room.

It was Divination class that morning. I didn't have breakfast because I was so conscious about walking into a room full of people after changing my hair a tad bit. "You're pathetic." I told myself.

I was just walking up the stairs when a familiar voice said, "Someone's trying really hard." A group of other students laughed. I didn't care to look into their direction because I already knew who it was.
I took my scrunchie out and tied my hair back up into a bun. They laughed even louder at something he said but I couldn't hear.

Parvati and Lavender sat next to me. They loved divination and did most of the work themselves. That was good for me because I hated the subject.
Today, we had to study tea leaves.
Professor Trelawney went on and on about how divination was a gift that only few possessed and on and on. My mind was somewhere else. It floated out of the dreamy window where I saw an owl flying. It reminded me of how I had not written to anyone since I got here. Or how nobody had written to me.

Suddenly, I heard professor Trelawney's voice, "Are you okay dear?"
I turned around startled and sent the cup flying down and shattering.
"Dear, dear. Sometimes, we go into a world of our own and search endlessly for a meaning. Maybe it's a gift." She said as she passed another cup to me and held my hand.
"The only thing she's dreaming about right now is Diggory." I heard someone at the back snarl and with it came laughter.

2 weeks had passed and it was match day. Gryffindor vs Hufflepuff. Cedric had been training so hard, I barely got to see him all week. With all the assignments we had, I couldn't go see their practice matches too. Just as I was walking towards the Quidditch ground, I saw him.
"Cedric!" I screamed, almost too loud. Everyone turned around.
"Ev," he moved towards me and held my hands.
"Good luck. For the game."
"I hope you've wished your house team." He said as he signalled towards my back. I turned around and the Gryffindor team was headed towards the ground too.
"Good luck guys! Good luck Harry!" I screamed. They smiled and nodded.
"You better go." I said and quickly gave him a peck on his checks and turned around and left. He was rather tall. I had to stretch myself as high as I could to reach his cheeks.
I turned around and saw him smile. And walk back to his team.

The day was stormy. Pouring heavily. We could barely see as players zoomed around on their brooms. When all of a sudden, someone fell down from above the clouds.
It was Harry.
———
He was rushed to the Hospital wing. He had been so high that a dementor saw him and tried to kiss him when he fainted and fell off.
We were all next to him.
"Where am I?" He said.  "How was the match?" "Did we win?"
"Slow down Harry." Hermione said.
"We lost the game. But only by 10 points. We can make it up with the next match." Ron said.
"And also, Harry,..." he brought out Harry's broken broken broom out. Harry sat up to look at it and then let himself down on the bed straight and said nothing else.
We discussed the match and what dementors were doing in the castle grounds in the first place. Dumbledore was furious.
It was getting late so I wished him to get well soon and walked out
I was walking out of the infirmary when Cedric caught my eye. "Is he okay?"   He said.
"Yes, I think so." And we walked away.
"I'm going to be a little busy the next few weeks with OWLS and all."
"I know. Study hard and ace it." I said.
"I'll see you around whenever I get the time to."
"Sure." I said.

He gave me a kiss before we left for our dorms.

Everything was rather dull the next few days. We were loaded with homework's and assignments. And most of my free time, I would spend with Hermione discussing studies.
Having Hermione around helped a lot. Harry and Ron had come as a package deal with Hermione and soon, I felt like a part of the group.
