*Nicole's Dream*
Nicole felt a gentle, soft but cold hand touch her shoulder. "Sweetie wake up, we're going to arrive late if you don't wake now" A voice spoke to her. Her eyes slowly opened, she saw her mother beautiful as ever. She smiled softy. She loved her mother so much, even when they were rushing she was always so calm and collected. Nicole didn't have this trait. Whenever she was rushing or being rushed her face would always tinge a little red and her hands would shake. This is why she never put herself in these situations.
Nicole slowly got out of bed and put on her blue jeans, with her floral top and finished off her outfit with her brown dolly shoes. Nicole made her way down to the kitchen to eat breakfast with her parents. Her parents ate jam on toast while she ate crunchy nut flakes, she ate them quickly as she was so excited for what was happening today. It was her first ever holiday and they were going to America.
"Ok so everyone is packed and everything is all ready in the car?" Asked Roslyn Nicoles mum
Teddy nodded
"Yeah everything is all packed mum, I just have one more thing to do before we set off ill be back in a second"
Nicole ran upstairs and grabbed her camera, she loved taking pictures. Her pictures were her memories.
She ran back downstairs.
"I've got what I was after, ok I want to take a picture before we go as im working on a holiday collage. So smile everyone"
They posed for a pre-holiday picture. *click* the picture had been taken and it looked perfect.
"Ok we have a pre-holiday picture now you ladies get in the car while I lock up and then we can set off" said Teddy
Nicole and Roslyn made their way to the car and got belted up and waited for Teddy to lock the house up.
As they made their way to the airport they put on a variety of songs, all three of them sung along to the songs which came on.
Nicole was nodding, as she was nodding off she could see her parents laughing and singing along with the songs. Her mother had noticed she'd fallen asleep so she covered Nicole with a blanket and quietly said "goodnight kitten"
Nicole was awoken by a sound hard hitting into the car, and a hard bang into the front of the car.
"Keep your head down Nicole, and do not look up!"
She did as she was told by her father.
As Nicole was under the blanket she couldn't see the wreckage outside of the car. A truck had lost control. It had caused around six cars to overturn, there was many casualty. After a couple of minutes Nicole felt something wet on her forehead. As she went to wipe the substance off her forehead the blanket slipped down. The sight she saw scarred her. Her parents had bits of glass and the truck in them and were drenched in blood. She heard sirens in the background but she was in so much shock she blanked everything out and all she could see was the horrific image of her parents lifeless bodies.
Nicole shot awake. Sweat pouring off her body. The images ran through her mind. She had to change out of her pyjamas they were wet through. As she got up and walked into the bathroom to get into the shower and put fresh night wear on she didnt notice the mirror in her room pulsing with light.
