As Nicole walked back into the room she noticed an odd light near the mirror. As she walked closer she realised the light was coming from the mirror. She curiously walked towards the mirror. As she was looking in the mirror her mother appeared behind her. She spun around in confusion, but as she turned back around to face the mirror her mother was still there; her mother smiled. Her father now walked up joining her mother, he was smiling at Nicole. They both looked normal. The way they looked before the accident.
"Hello kitten" Roslyn spoke softly.
"My beautiful girl, I've missed you terribly" said her dad.
Nicole was still staring at the mirror in confusion, how could her parents be inside her mirror... They're dead.
"I know this is all too weird for you, but when we passed we were stuck on earth. I don't understand how we are, but we're stuck inside your mirror. I suppose this is a good thing. We get to see you grow up. We can even talk to you" Said Roslyn
"But it is a little strange for me. You're dead. But somehow something strange happened and you're stuck behind my mirror... I suppose it is nice to know that your not out of my life completely" said Nicole.
"We can talk to every night before you go to sleep if you would like?" Asked Teddy.
"I would like that. It would be nice to update you on my day" replied Nicole.
"Since we haven't been in your life for so long, why don't you update us on what's been going on?" Asked Roslyn
Nicole nodded.
"Ok! It'll be a long catch up then"
Both her parents smiled. Happy to be in her life again.
Nicole told them all what had gone on since they wasn't in her life anymore. By the time she finished she was worn out. She had been taking to them for two hours. Nicole yawned.
"If you're tired kitten, go to sleep! We have plenty of other nights to talk, don't wear yourself out" said Roslyn.
"Yes listen to your mother Nicole, we can wait! You need some sleep! So goodnight my darling and we'll talk tomorrow"
"We love you!" They said in unison
"Ok I shall go to sleep but I promise I'll talk to you tomorrow! Goodnight! I love you"
Nicole walked over the her bed, got in the covers and as soon as her head hit the pillow she was fast asleep.
