Y/n pov:
It was a fun day. I was going to go camping on my own for the first time without any family or friends; as if I had any friends.
My mother warned me about going alone for a week. Being overprotective and stuff. I told her I wouldn't get hurt but the only problem was bears. I can handle them.
I got my camping supplies out from the back of my truck and into the area I was planning to camp on.
Once the stuff was all set up, I grabbed my phone to call my mother to tell her I was alright. Nothing would work. ' of course it won't work ' I thought to myself. Why didn't I think that in the middle of the wood, my phone won't work.
After being dumfounded, I decided to go exploring to get things off my mind.
I had bad time in college with grades and well, people. I got bullied a lot for being different things I guess. While they were smoking random crap, I was doing my own thing. They called me names and beat me up when ever they wanted too. I was interested in all types of things; creative things, dark things, school, etc. My favorite animal are snakes. They are just really cute and cool. Those are the reasons why they hated me.
I was lost in the thought of how worried my mother would be while I was gone; I didn't realize how far I left my camp spot.
I snapped back into reality when I heard the sounds of little bugs singing. I realized something right then and there.
I'm lost... In the dark.
