Gilgamesh wins the holy grail but realizes that Saber already loves someone else, Shirou Emiya. So he decides to use it to try and take away the one thing Saber loves...
"Trace On." Before Phantom knew it Shirou materialized blades forcing her to let go, freeing him from her. As he did, it forced her hood back and revealed her face. Her eyes burned with the flames of hell and her mouth was disfigured as her teeth glistened like a chainsaw as Shirou stared not in fear, but if curiosity. "How. How dare you look upon me!" Her eyes swelled up a if to cry, but even she would refuse to believe that. "Altair you really do look like her drawing." He wanted to say more, but she began screaming all over again. "YOU! I swear you are so dead right now." "You really do look beautiful up close." Shirou said examining her, although she was slightly disfigured he saw Akane's hard work in Phantom. She froze from his statement and Shirou thought she glowed a bit. Possibly a sign of blushing? But then she swung her sword again. "My you really are a troublemaker." And with that her sword was frozen in the air as chains revealed themselves and Rider descended behind Shirou. "I should've known someone was spying on me." He sighed feeling a bit more at ease with her here. "Sakura would be displeased about your... Date with Phantom's creator." "It wasn't a.." Phantom who had been carefully moving her eyes between them looked at the ground before sadistically laughing. "Do you honestly think I'd let him!? My dear Setsuna would never be tainted by him!" Her body burst into purple flames that began eating Rider's chains.
But before the situation could escalate any further a sword stabbed into her chest. "Surely you must realize how fruitless our fight is?" Gila sighed looking at the groceries all but ruined. "How did you?" She shot him a glance. "Honey I always know where you are." Before turning back at Phantom who was being drilled by more of Gill's arsenal, Phantom's hands, feet, arms, legs, neck, and head were pinned to the wall by swords and lances. "You should've stopped while you could. Altair." Gila said before slicing her head off despite Shirou's desperate pleas. All he could do was watch as Gila glared down at the disfigured head glaring back as the body went limp. "I... Swear that... Vengeance will be..." Rider looked at Gila merely asking, "Was that wise?" Gila merely looked at her then to Phantom. "I had no choice. We still have Angra Mainyu and Enkidu. I can't stand much more of this anyway... But rider she was never a heroic spirit all she was... Was simply a phantom."
Those words stuck through Shirou's mind a they night went on and everyone else ate out in the kitchen. "Not hungry? Or do you not wish to be with Gil?" Enkidu called from the doorway. "This is unexpected." Shirou replied getting up from his futon to greet the corrupted servant. "What's on your mind master of saber? You've been troubled since Gil and Rider saved you." "Its nothing too discuss besides soon you'll fight is too like you said the other day." "Yes I remember that." He said looking out towards the moon. "However Shirou if I may be honest I dont want to fight. This is peaceful the way it is. Rider, Caster, Lancer, Berserker, and Saber know that and I... I envy that from them truly. Despite the rules of nature they got to experience something few heroes did in our respected times. Angra Mainyu may eventually decide to fight. But as I see it the grail is not here." "What!?" Enkidu looked at him surprised. "You didn't know? Phantom has the grail. Its why I'm surprised you pity her so much. She is after the last servants here. I know it. Angra Mainyu knows it. And so does Gila. But everyone else it seems doesn't... Gila wanted you all too be happy after resetting this bloodbath. But now all that idiots done is-" Enkidu froze before shivering and letting out a scream causing everyone's attention. "What's wrong." Enkidu picked himself back up off the floor looking at Gila before mustering up the words. "You have failed in you're attempt at keeping peace."
