Phoenix (A James Bond fanfiction)

Going Down?

Bond was listening to the recording of Phoenix's conversation in his office. Sky had placed a bug under his desk.

"The girl. Your new one"

"Miss Waters?'

"That one. She works for the British government"

"MI5?"

"No sir. MI6"

"Thankyou. I'll deal with her later"

Bond rushed to meet Sky.

"They know your a spy"

"What? How?"

"I dont know. They just know. What are you going to do"

"Ah!" Sky exclaims. She rushes off and comes back with a black jumpsuit. "Put this on"

Bond gives her a look "Its the cleaning staff uniform" Sky tells him "You'll look good as a cleaner"

Bond scoffs but puts on the outfit. He tells Sky to call him if they come for her.

"What floor?" Asked a man that shared the lift

"5 please" Replied Sky

Sky arrived and sat at her desk, she began to work. After around 10 minuites Sky heard a familiar voice in her ear.

"Two men and a bird heading to floor 5"

"Copy that. Armed?"

"Affermative"

Sky got up to leave as she was met by Phoenix who wanted her to enter his office.

"Miss Waters. What employment did you have before working here?"

"Well. I worked in a small shop down the road from here and in the police. Why?"

"I was just wondering. I didnt ask you when I interviewed you. Would you be able to show my customers here the business suite?"

"Floor..?" Prompted Sky

"7"

Sky smiled. "Okay boys. Follow me"

Sky stood at the glass windows on floor 7. She could see the reflection of the men behind her who were pretending to do some work. The one man had a phone call and walked off. Sky turned around to see a gun being pointed at her.

"Why are you here?" Asked the first goon

Sky pretended to look scared at the gun "P-Please p...put down the gun. I was sent here to bring you up to...to room 7"

"No. Why are you working here?"

"I...I needed th...the job"

"Why do you work here if you already work in MI6?"

"MI6" Stuttered Sky "I...I didn...didnt think that...that really existed"

The second goon comes in.

"Maybe she is actually innocent?"

"She cant be. I checked her fingerprints"

"Please...please check them...check them a...again" Sky said

"Could be a trick"

"Nahh"

Sky walked over to the two goons and held her hands out. The one goon held her arm and placed her finger tips on a device. It pinged after a few minuites as Agent Sky King. Ex-Special Ops SAS, now 00 agent for MI6.

"Damn. I thought they worked" Sky said.

"Get her" The two goons lunged at her

Sky quickly pulled a gun out and pointed it at them. "If Im ex-SAS and current 00, how good does that make me with a gun?"

The two goons looked at eachother and backed off.

"Thankyou" Sky turned "007. Rumbled. Floor 7 immedietly. Over"

She continued to point her gun at the two men.

"Y'know Phoenix is going to kill you"

"I would love to see him try"

The lift pinged open and Bond came striding out. Gun pointed at the two goons. Sky smiled at him. "Having fun?" She asked. Bond glared. "So two captives. How traditional"

"It was either me or them"

As Bond and Sky were talking the one goon picked up his gun and aimed for Bond. Without looking at him. Sky shot him straight through the heart, Bond took care of the other one.

Sky pickpocketed them and found a key card. "This will get us into floor 3"

"Why floor 3. Thats so odd"

"Maybe its the last place someone would look?" Sky replied

"How many of the beefy boys are around?"

"A lot. Most of them on ground floor level. Im suprised an alarm-"

Bond was cut short by the sound of an alarm.

"Spoke to soon"

Sky looked down through the glass. "There is a cleaning trolley down on floor 3. If we jump we might not make it"

"Id rather jump than get shot. Come on"

Around a dozen, men dressed in black and chest filled with the Phoenix Inc. logo came thundering into the room. Followed by Phoenix himself.

He laughed when he saw the predicament the two agents were in.

"Stuck?"

"No not really" Sky replied

"It doesnt look that way Miss Waters or is it Agent King? Accompanied by Mr Bond I see"

"Good afternoon" Bond smiled

"We'll be seeing you soon" Sky said. She shot the window and turned with bond. They grasped eachothers hands and jumped.

The fall took an age. The sound of gunfire hot in their ears. Suddenly the window cleaning trolley was coming too soon.

"Were going in too hot" Shouted Bond

"Grab onto the wire. This is going to hurt" Sky shouted in reply.

Both Bond and Sky grabbed onto the thick wire. It cut cleanly into their hands but slowed them down so they didnt hit the trolley so hard.

As they hit the floor of the window cleaning trolley. They let go of the wire. "Shit that hurt" Winced Sky. She ripped off some of her sleeve to wrap around the wound. She grabbed Bonds hand and wrapped some around his too. And kissed it "Is that better?" She asked him

"Better" replied Bond

They looked in at floor 3. Then looked at eachother.

"Ready?"

"Ready"
