It was the first day of the new school year the new high school called Jade Mountain High. It was a very nice school, considering it was a public school. Probably because no kids had been there yet. All the kids were getting dropped off at school, or just arriving from a walk to school. There was an exciting buzz around the front gates of the school, as there normally is on the first day of school. Everyone knew it was going be a great day!
A big black jeep pulled into the parking lot and parked. A tall boy, probably around 16 popped out. He was dark skinned and looked friendly, but had a mischevious glint in his eyes. He had a sharp jawline and distinct features. His eyes glowed an amber color, almost golden in the sunlight. He also had a hoop earring in one ear, which somehow added to his whole demeanor. He walked up to the front of the school.
𝘞𝘰𝘸, 𝘐'𝘮 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘰𝘶𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘐 𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘪𝘱𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘣𝘦𝘪𝘯𝘨... Quibli thought. He normally didn't get nervous about anything, but for some reason, today he was a little jumpy.
"Hey Quibli!!!" He heard behind him. He turned around to see Turtle. Turtle was pretty tall as well, and he was extremely tan with freckles, sandy blonde hair, and sea green eyes. They had both been best friends at his old school and were excited that they both got transferred to Jade Mountain High. "Dude this new school looks so cool!"
"I know right, but I hope it's not full of a ton of stuck up people." said Quibli.
"Speaking of stuck up... muttered Turtle and nodded over at a car that had just pulled in.
It was a silver Lamborghini. The passenger seat opened and a girl stepped out. She looked like a celebrity, with long white blonde hair, pale skin, makeup perfectly done. She obviously was up on all the current fashion. Her stance was one of a supermodel, and she glared around the parking lot. She turned around and said something to the person in the driver's seat. He got out, looking almost identical to her, but obviously male. He had all the same features, the white blonde hair, the pale skin, the seemingly pasted on glare. But the most notable part was both of them had piercing ice blue eyes that looked like they could kill.
Quibli looked around and saw people already looking and whispering about them. One girl caught his attention. She was small with big glasses, long silky black hair, and fair skin. Her eyes were big and nervous, looking around at everyone. Her eyes widened when she saw the Lamborghini pull in and the passengers walk out. 𝘞𝘰𝘸, 𝘴𝘩𝘦 𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘬𝘴 𝘴𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘥. He thought. He was burst out of his trance by Turtle.
"Rich people alert. Jeez." grumbled Turtle, "Why do I already feel like they have been bullying people since kindergarten."
"Don't judge them just because they look like they bully kindergarteners!" said Quibli
"That's not what I sa- you know what, you're right they are probably super nice and that's why they are glaring at everyone!" said Turtle.
They both walked up to front gate, and were standing near to Turtle and Quibli, and looking around and mumbling to each other.
"They do know this isn't a runway right?" said Turtle. Quibli choked back a laugh.
~Ten minutes earlier~
Moon locked up her bike in the bike rack. Why did the car decide to run out of gas this morning of all mornings? What bad luck. She looked around nervously. There was so many people! Moon was already shy and not great at meeting new people, but this was a different kind of overwhelming. She took out her phone, which she relied on as a crutch in public places. She started observing the people at the front gates. She saw a tall guy get out of a black jeep. 𝘏𝘦 𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘬𝘴 𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘧𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘣𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘺 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘣𝘦 𝘱𝘰𝘱𝘶𝘭𝘢𝘳 𝘰𝘳 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨, she thought. She saw him go up to another guy with a nice smile who was tall and tan. Both of them started talking.
