The fresh sea breeze, the smell of food, and the hustle of the city, all what make Liyue the perfect travel destination.

You have finally arrived to the place you'll be staying for a while as part of an exchange program that the Knights of Favonius offered to you. After all, a good getaway can be just what you need to get back into a good mindset to do your job. Mondstadt is a lovely city, but being there for a long time, doing the same tedious work everyday could make anyone go crazy.

You turn a corner and come to a bridge, admiring the little pond as you start to enter the commercial area of Liyue Harbor. You decided that it would be best to explore and get to know your way around a little better. You've been to the Harbor only one other time when you were younger. It was a favorite destination of your parents, so for your 10th birthday they brought you on a trip to see the sights, do some shopping and have some food. It was quite a while ago, and you don't remember it too well.

At last you get to the shops, so many vendors selling all kinds of things, and of course you saved up some Mora for this trip, so getting a few souvenirs shouldn't be a problem. You find someone selling some fruit, and decided that a bite to eat may not be so bad.

"Theif!" The shop owner yells. He wasn't pointing at you, but at someone running away with a sunsettia. Your instincts being a well know knight in Mondstadt tell you to chase after this theif, but little do you know, problems like this in Liyue are usually taken care of by their own authority.

You dash through the streets feeling the breeze in your hair, taking twists and turns and not losing sight of the theif. You can't stumble, you can't fail, justice has to be served. The theif stops, breathing heavily.

"I- I can't" he pauses, "Run like this anymore." He says out of breath. He gives you the sunsettia, and out of nowhere, he turns a sharp corner and is gone.

"Stop!" You turn around and hear the voice of some Millilith Guards. This was all part of the plan of this criminal. He knew he couldn't get away with the sunsettia, so he framed you to get away safely. This sort of thing happens in Mondstadt as well, but usually you were tasked to duties outside the city, and dealing with thieves wasn't something that happened often. Still, you should have been more careful.

"Hold it right there, you're under arrest" another guard chimes in, "What's your name?"

"I'm innocent! I was chasing the real thief!" you pleaded.

"Name?" The guard asks again, "You aren't from here are you?"

"I'm Y/N L/N, I'm a knight of Favonius from Mondstadt, I was trying to chase the one who stole the fruit" you start to think that this had been a constant issue, there's no way someone who stole a piece of fruit one time would be treated this harshly.

"Wait until Varka finds out one of his is stooping this low."

"But I didn't steal it! I'm telling you the truth!" Out of nowhere you hear a voice behind you.

"I saw the whole thing, she's innocent" the voice said. Could this be the thief confessing? No, it didn't sound like him. You turn around and see a tall orange haired man defending you. "I promise" he says. Looking back at the Millelith, I see the two of them are intimidated by this man.

"We have the evidence already!" One guard says, pointing to the fruit still in your hand, "Please stay out of this!"

The tall man sighs, "I guess we'll have to do this the hard way then." He grabs my hand and shouts, "Come on, run!"

You round the same corner the thief did, having difficulty keeping up with your savior, but he lets go of your hand and keeps going. He was faster and seemingly stronger than you, so who was he? He doesn't look like he was from Liyue, and he's definitely not a Millelith, and you didn't recognize him as a knight either.

The two of you escape, and you finally open your mouth, "Might I ask, who are you?"

"Just a bystander who was in the right place at the right time. If you want to know my name, it's Childe." He responds.

"Well thank you for that." You say and pause awkwardly, lost in his blue orbs ((I apologize for that)), "I'm Y/N"

"So do you want to return that Sunsettia? Wouldn't want to become a real thief" He smiles at you , and flustered you nod. "See you later then Y/N!" He says, and you continue your exploration of the city, careful to avoid the guards you encountered just a few moments ago.
