As the middle child there are things I can simply just get away with. No one seems to notice me anyways. I am one of King Aaron of Kilia's five children.
I have my 20 year old twin older brothers who always are getting into mischief, Nathan and Johnathan. Nathan has curly black hair with a white streak, fair skin, green eyes, and is 6'0". Jonathan has curly white hair with a black streak, fair skin, blue eyes, and is 6'1".
Then there's Zachery who is 12. He has straight black hair, fair skin, green eyes, and is 4'11". He gets made fun of a lot from the twins.
Finally little 9 year old Mary. She has straight blonde hair, fair skin, grey eyes, and is 4'1". She is kind of a brat in my opinion. She gets whatever she wants. I wish someone else would see her like I do.
I am 15 years old but I have my birthday coming up in two days. I have wavy black hair, fair skin, green eyes, and I'm 5'5".

Now there are more things you need to know about my family. My mother disappeared mysteriously last year. No one has done anything about it though. There is also the thing with my brothers. They couldn't decide who should be king so they decided that whoever can find a good suitor first wins the crown. I think it is idoitic and stupid to put them in charge. They are hooligans and they should not even be considered a part of the royal family. I wish they would be disowned by my dad. I should have the right to the crown, not them! I don't even cross my fathers mind when he is going through the list of heirs. One time I passed by his study and heard him talking.
"Well sir we need an heir soon," said Phillip, my father's apprentice.
"If the twins can't find a wife then I am sure Zachery will be able to take the crown and if he doesn't want to, Mary can."
Mary can! She's 9 I'm practically 16! I can take over. I was so filled with rage. I am the smartest child in my family. I am excelling in my studies! I am great in Ballroom Dancing, Etiquette, and History of the Kingdom. I do everything that I can to be the perfect heir to the throne and then the family hooligans get it, or the 12 year old who almost died from eating a rock dipped in soap, or little miss perfect who pushed the rock down further into Zachery's throat! Great options dad!
It is my duty to make sure the kingdom of Kilia does not go down in flames. If I can't have a shot then I will make my own path to take my shot anyways. I solemnly swear that my siblings will never see what the power of the crown is.
I can see it now. I will be the greatest ruler Kilia has ever seen. But if that isn't possible then I will make sure no one can have the crown but me. I am the true heir of Aaron. Not Nathan, not Johnathan, not Zachery, not Mary, me!
