Poppy, soon to be Queen of the Pop Trolls, and she was very excited. The only downside was that she had to get married to a man
She didn't really show any attraction towards the male Trolls. She dated a few in school, but she didn't feel any romantic feelings for them
She loved them, but not romantically
Poppy was so distracted with her thoughts, she wasn't listening to her dad
"Poppy? Poppy!" Peppy said
Poppy snapped out of it
"Oh! Dad! Sorry." Poppy said
"You're doing it again." Peppy said
"Doing what?" Poppy asked
"Thinking. You know what happens when girls think." Peppy said
"It isn't fair! Girls have as much privilege as the boys." Poppy said
Peppy sighed
"I'm sorry Poppy, but that's the rule." Peppy said
Poppy looked away
"Well the rule needs to be changed. It isn't right!" Poppy said
"It can't." Peppy said
"Oh yes it can! I'll change it!" Poppy said
"Poppy, you need to marry a man." Peppy said
"I don't wanna marry a total stranger! I wanna be with someone I absolutely love." Poppy said
"And you'll find that someone." Peppy said
Poppy looked at him
"Because I brought two Trolls." Peppy said
"What!? Dad! Did you not just hear me?" Poppy asked
"And I thought of giving it a change." Peppy said
Poppy looked at him confused. Branch and Creek came into the pod with smiles on their faces
"Oh nawwww." Poppy said
"Poppy! I hope I can win your heart and make you happy for as long as you live." Branch said
"Simp. Look Poppy, I want you, you and I will be together and make children for heirs to the throne." Creek said
"That's not-"
"Uh-uh-uh Poppy, girls don't speak what's on their minds. You know that." Creek said
"I wanna hear what she has to say." Branch said
"Well it ain't gonna happen. Everyone knows girls aren't allowed to speak. All they do is cook, clean, they belong on the kitchen while men do actual things." Creek smirked
"He gets it." Peppy smiled
"What!?" Poppy asked
"Now, onto the real thing." Creek said
The lights cut off and Creek was in neon colors
"Every breath you take, and every move you make." Creek began
"Every bond you break. Every step you take, I'll be watching you." Creek sang
"Every single day and every word you say. Every game you play. Every night you stay, I'll be watching you." Creek sang
"Oh, can't you see you belong to me? How my poor heart aches. With every step you take." Creek sang
