Poppy ran through the woods back home and fell on the grass. She tried to catch her breath. Poppy turned around and saw nothing, just the trees behind her
She wanted to go back. She had to go back, but Barb told her to leave. Poppy was getting ready to tell her. She was ready. She was going to tell Barb during the weekend
But Barb told her to leave!
Poppy hated that. She missed her, she loved her, she wanted to give Barb a hug and let her know everything would be ok
The only person on Poppy's mind was Barb. The world just stopped. Poppy stood up and walked home
"Now and then I think of when we were together. Like when you said you felt so happy you could die." Poppy sang
"I told myself that you were right for me. But felt so lonely in your company, but that was love and it's an ache I still remember." Poppy sang
Poppy walks through the woods in silence rewinding everything that had just happened. It was all so fast
She didn't mean to say that to Barb. It was in the heat of the argument. Poppy didn't mean a single word that was said. She wasn't thinking
"You can get addicted to a certain kind of sadness.Like resignation to the end, always the end." Poppy sang
"So when we found that we could not make sense. Well, you said that we would still be friends, but I'll admit that I was glad it was over." Poppy sang, feeling something in her break
"But you didn't have to cut me off! Make out like it never happened and that we were nothing, and I don't even need your love!" Poppy sang
"But you treat me like a stranger and that feels so rough. No, you didn't have to stoop so low!" Poppy sang
"Have your friends collect your records and then change your number. I guess that I don't need that though. Now you're just somebody that I used to know!" Poppy sang
"Now you're just somebody that I used to know!" Poppy sang
"Now you're just somebody that I used to know!" Poppy sang, looking at the ground as she continued to walk back home
"Now and then I think of all the times you screwed me over. But had me believing it was always something that I'd done." Barb sang
"But I don't wanna live that way. Reading into every word you say. You said that you could let it go. And I wouldn't catch you hung up on somebody that you used to know!!" Barb sang

"Ahhh." Barb sang
