Its been 10 years since Nesserrise and Larkin's human father sent her to the Ferelden's Tower of Magi, with their mother sending Larkin to keep her safe. After years of long grueling training Larkin has finally made it to the ranks of Templars under the watchful eyes of Knight-Commander Greagor. When First-Enchanter Irving took Nesserrise under his wing he also learned about Larkin her twin brother so Irving had Greagor promise to let Larkin stay by her side which Greagor reluntently promised to do so even though it completely went against the laws of being a Templar.

After turning 18 Nesserrise's Haworring is in about a week and this whole thing is making the young Mage nervous out of her mind. "Why can't my day come already and leave just as quickly, this whole waiting thing is making me very nervous."

"You worry too much Nes." A male Mage walked up to her from behind. The 18 year old turned her head to the side to see it was her good friend Victor a human Mage.

"Hey I have a reason to worry Victor. What if I screw up somehow and something bad happens?" Just thinking about it is making her mentally freak out even more.

"Seriously Nes you screw up? Oh please you are the most determined, the most skilled of all the other Apprentices here who hasn't yet to take theirs. If you don't believe me you can even ask your brother." Victor pointed to Larkin who was sitting on the edge of her bed.

Nesserrise glanced over to her loving brother who nodded his head in agreement. "Victor's right sis." Larkin stood up and led both the Mages out of the room.

"Let's go to the library and I'll practice with you Nes. How does that sound?"

"Sounds great to me. Thank you Victor." Nesserrise smiled happily.

While Nesserrise and Victor was walking down the hall Larkin was walking in toe right behind. On the right wall standing like a statue was Cullen, Nesserrise noticed the man's eyes following her every move which put a soft blush to her cheeks and apparently Cullen noticed it as well and smiled sweetly.

Larkin cleared his throat. "You two go ahead I have something to do real quick I'll meet you at the library later." So when his sister and their friend was out of sight Larkin stood next to Cullen. They both were silent for a moment. "So Cullen you have feelings for Nesserrise...don't you?"

Cullen's eyes grew large and looked over to Larkin. "How did you..."

"Figure it out?" Larkin finished the question. "Well it is quit obvious, quit a few Apprentices have seen the look you give her."

Cullen bowed his head in shame.

"Hey there's nothing for you to be ashamed of Cullen. You care for my sister and there's nothing wrong with that at all, and just so you know I'm rooting for you my friend." Larkin gave Cullen a confident smile, a nod with his head and went off in the direction of the library.

Four days have past and its the day for Victor to have his Haworring. A small amount of Templars led him away including Larkin. "Don't worry You'll do great!" Nesserrise called out.

Half of the day went by with no sight of Victor. Nesserrise was laying down on her twin sized bed with her arm covering her eyes and one her legs bend up towards the tall ceiling, and her hair flowing around her head like a flowering silver halo. Some of the skirt of the pale blue and tan Apprentice robe she was wearing was dropped off of the bed.

"Oh Victor, I pray that you are ok and you will be back soon." Nesserrise sighed while saying what was playing in her head over and over again.

"Don't worry about Victor Nessi, he's a strong Mage. He'll be just fine." Cullen walked up to the female Elf and sat down on the bed next to her.
