There was an old house on the top of the hill that everyone in town knew of but no one dared to go. This was because a sinister person was living there who allegedly skinned people alive. This earned her the name The Skin Lady.

"I was slowly creeping through The Skin Lady's house, terrified by the slightest creak of the floor," Alice explained to her friends, Jim and Erica at the bottom of the hill, after they dared her to go into the house.

"I bet this isn't even true. You probably just hid in the yard or something," protested Jim. "Yeah, you're making this up," Erica agreed, hugging her sweater tightly to protect herself from the night breeze.

Alice looked at them with a small smile. "This happened. I was in the house. Just listen," she said slowly.
"As I was saying. I saw a big wooden door and I slowly opened it," Jim and Erica listened intently to Alice in fear.

"Inside the room, I saw her, The Skin Lady," Jim's eyes went wide with horror and Erica gasped. "She grabbed me and peeled off all of my skin!" Alice yelled, with a strange, unsettling look on her face.

"Pfft. That makes no sense. You're here right now so that couldn't have happened," Jim said with a shaky, unsure voice. Erica nodded her head in agreement.

Alice started to chuckle slowly and maliciously. "But that's where you're wrong. Alice isn't here," with a glint in her eyes, she pulled off Alice's skin.

Jim and Erica screamed and ran for their lives.
