The next night you went back at the same time: midnight. Your car pulled into the parking space right next to the door and you crept out, this time with a torch. You opened the office door, stepped inside and dropped your torch. The glass bulb shattered and you nearly cried.
"No extra help then," you murmured sadly. You sat in the same spinning chair and watched the phone, waiting for it to ring with more instructions. You picked it up immediately and listened to the creepy dude's voice. Everything was the same until he said that the animatronics were going to be more active, now knowing that you aren't a costumeless animatronic.
You swore and listened to the rest of the message. That was all.
You quickly snapped on the cameras. This time the rabbit animatronic had moved. You checked the screens closest to you and jumped. It had already reached the party room.
"Go away," you muttered, switching cameras. Freddy had moved. You flicked around for a while, seeing where everyone was. The rabbit stayed in the party room for a scary amount of time whilst Freddy kept on getting closer, and closer....
Soon he was in the storage room near your office. You shut the doors and was alarmed to see you only had thirty five percent power left! Checking the cameras had taken up a lot. You glanced down at your watch nervously. Around four AM.
"Come on, come on," you breathed, willing the hands to go faster. No change. You looked up and decided to see what the animatronics were doing. You started in your usual place, the room the animatronics started from. It was empty.
"Hell," you whispered. You scanned the other cameras and noticed that Freddy had moved. You went off the cameras and opened the door. You turned on the light; nothing there. You switched to the other side and flicked the light there, not thinking you'd find anything. You screamed and fell back in a panic; the chicken animatronic, Chica, was staring you in the face, mouth wide open. You hit the door button and glanced over to your power bar. Twenty percent. You cautiously turned on the light and shuddered. It had another set of teeth in its gaping mouth.
You turned your back on it and looked at the cameras. Nothing. You switched them off and sat back in your chair. You turned on the lights to your right and saw that Chica had gone. You opened the door then decided to check the lights on your left. The freaky rabbit animatronic was waving at you with an insane grin. You swore loudly then flailed about for a few seconds before coming to your senses and slamming your hand on the door button, locking it away.
Ten percent.
5AM.
You gulped nervously and watched the power guage click down. With all your heart you willed it to be six AM so you could leave the pizzeria and just go home!
Five percent. Still 5AM.
What would run out first? The shift or the power?
It turns out it was the power. You sat there like a terrified wreck, shaking and trembling, hoping for six AM. You glanced to your left and saw Freddy's face. The same odd music as before started up and you heaved a sigh of relief. The second the music stopped you wrenched open the door and dived for your car. You drove away faster than you've ever driven before, crying quietly. The second you got home you curled up under the duvet and slept.
