"i keep telling you [name], he's gonna bite you in your sweet ass one day," rolling your eyes, you brushed off her words. focusing on perfecting your outfit, you tried a new button up shirt on, examining yourself in the mirror.

"ymir, shush, he's a nice guy," you chimed before a playful grin spread across your face, "plus, he already has."

the freckled female groaned loudly, tapping her knuckles to your temple, "ew, that's gross. floch is an asshole. historia said that earlier today she saw him with another girl leaving the movies!"

"they were probably just friends!" you reassured, not knowing if it was to her or yourself. as you were picking up your bag and adjusting your skirt, you heard ymir mumble something beneath her breath.

"...probably like how historia and i are just friends..."

"what was that?"

"nothing."

there was a beep outside as a smile fitted your face, "thanks for letting me get changed here. I'll see you tomorrow."

"yeah, sure, see you."

leaving ymir's house, you see floch parked outside with a hand racking through his hair. you  had been together for around two years now, getting together in high school. you remembered the days of awkwardly holding hands and gushing to your friends when you had first kissed him. he had been there for you through the ups and downs of you life. it was perfect.

...but ymir's words had wriggled into your mind.

"hey floch!" you slid into the passenger seat, giving him a kiss on the cheek, "how was your day?" the male wore a black button up, the top three buttons undone, exposing his chest-piece,  which was messily tucked into a pair of jeans. a silver chain was connected from his hip to his pocket.

"good, just stayed home all day watching netflix," he replied with a hum, but his words had made a frown fall on your face.

"historia said you went to the movies?" you questioned, raising a brow. the male kept his hands on the steering wheel but scrunched his nose up.

"who?"

"historia?" you repeated, looking at him. there was no recognisance in his eyes, "my friend? the blonde girl?"

"wasn't her name armeen or something?" he muttered, not completely paying attention.

"no. that's armin. he's not a girl. i'm talking about historia? she was at my birthday last year?" you were in shock, how did he not remember her? you had spent many nights with her, the two of them even spoke plenty times before.

"uh, no... don't remember her. is she hot?"

"she's lesbian," you muttered lowly, growing pissed at him. who was this man and where was your sweet boyfriend gone?

he whistled, "didn't answer my question but okay. damn. quite a shame."

"what the fuck?" you hissed. he didn't seem to hear it as he turned up the volume to the shitty music he was listening to. it was so loud it became the point where it hurt your ears but he didn't seem to notice.

after ten minutes that felt like hours, he pulled into a parking lot, "alright, we're here."

clearing her throat and basically ignoring what had just happened, you tucked a lock of hair behind your ear, "so where are we?"

"a club, c'mon, let's go," he stepped out the car, not even sparring a glance at you which made you frown. you joined him, trying to enjoy your time but you couldn't. here you were, sitting at the bar, holding onto a sweet, non-alcoholic drink whilst your boyfriend, and date, was dancing under the fluorescent lights.

with a bitter look, you continued to sip your drink, eyeing the girl getting a bit too close to him. floch's hands shot out and grabbed onto the woman's hips, guiding them to against his own.

rage bubbled inside you as your grip around the glass tightened to the point it shattered. hissing as the glass stabbed your hands, blood dripped down onto the counter as the bartender quickly grabbed the first aid kit.

"are you okay?! here, gimme your hand," he cleaned your hand of glass, carefully pulling the shards out before disinfecting it and wrapping it in bandages.

"i'm so sorry about the glass, and thank you for this," you rose your bandaged hand as he shook his head, his glasses on the bridge of his nose dropped.

"don't stress and take it easy yeah?" he smiled, before turning around, dealing with another customer. you watched as the bearded blonde man left before sighing, eyes returning to the dance floor.

floch was gone. so was the woman he was with.

eyes darting around the club, you saw a flash of auburn hair and long brown hair slipping into the toilets together.

you thought to yourself that you should just leave now. he's done the damage but you were furious, you march over to the door, hoping that you were wrong. that he was just sick and needed help. but a small part of you knew that he was hooking up with a random chick.

you didn't even need to get close, despite the loud thumping music, the groans and moans were apparent. you felt sick.

tears flowed down your face and you didn't even notice them until they dropped off your jaw. sweat built up on your back as you rushed out of the club, slamming into a few people here and there.

grabbing your phone, through tears you called ymir. after a few rings, she picked up.

"dude what? we're in the middle of something..." ymir hissed into the phone but went silent at the sound of you uneven breathing and sobs, "what happened? what did that bastard do?! i'll kill him i swear!"

"please... pick me up ymir..." you felt so used and embarrassed. for how long was he doing this? he probably was seeing so many other girls, even today at the movies. you felt fucking dumb, stupid, pathetic.

"fuck don't move. i'll be there in a few," you could hear historia in the back asking what was happening. the phone call ended and you were left sitting on the curb in front of the nightclub.

trying to distract yourself by looking at your phone, you couldn't help the sobs that shook your entire body. around five minutes later of stares from strangers and smeared make up, a familiar car pulled up.

historia ran out of the passenger seat, her eyes laced with worry and concern, "[name]! what happened?" seeing that you couldn't form words, she only embraced you, "it's okay, we've got you, come on, let's get you home."
