Her strength was bigger than this whole world "are you okay?" I asked as I extended my arm to help her up, and as her small hand intertwined with mine I felt myself not wanting to let go, but I did because maybe she'll think It's weird of me since we are just friends. We went to go eat lunch outside and from a distance, I saw her laughing with the others so I went to go see what was going on.

" yup this shortie here is the Dutches," Kuroo said while placing his hand on her hair starting to ruffle her hair some strands escaping from the slick bag ponytail she had.

" oh stop karoo" I hear (Y/n) say and by the look on her face, she felt embarrassed.

" this idiot," I thought to myself my blood somehow boiling, Out of nowhere like I wasn't in control of my own body I moved and took ahold of (Y/n) hand, and while I did I say out loud "hey Yachi is looking for you" I lied but it was the only thing I could think of at the moment. I took her to the gym as if  Yachi was there "thanks" she says and hugs me "oh uh yeah no problem" I say but somehow my heart felt like it was about to jump out of my chest and my face was going to melt off. She lets go and suddenly I feel sad "hey (Y/n) can I ask you a question ?" I ask as we sit on the gym floor eating "yeah go ahead" she says stuffing a dumpling into her mouth " have you ever had a person who just makes your heartbeat? and make your face feel warm? but when they aren't around you feel a bit sad?" I finally ask and try not to make eye contact with her. " yeah I do have that someone, but frankly, I think he is too busy with other things to notice" as she says that I notice her face turn dull "what does that mean... I mean the things I ask earlier" I finally said "well mostly likely you like that person and not in a way of a teammate or friend but a way of love" Her words stung because as soon as she said love I knew that I did like (Y/n).

Night finally fell and we had to clean up everything "hey Kageyama can you close up," the coach said and I just nodded and placed the last ball cart in the closet thing.

"hey, Tobio" I hear (Y/n) running towards me.

"You trying to lock me in the gym" she laughed and slipped out.

We were walking in the dark and as we did I felt a tug on my shirt- I turned around and saw (Y/n)'s eyes sparkle as she sees the bright moon and stars. "They're beautiful," she says almost looking like a little kid with a brand new toy "yeah well she is beautiful" my words spill to only leave me redder than a pepper.

"beautiful ?" she questioned.

"(Y/n) your beautiful... I like you" I finally said and admitted to myself...
