Mia's POV

  "Wake up! Wake up! You're gonna miss your ride." Nana screamed at the top of her lungs to rush me out of bed.
      
    " ALRIGHT! Just give me a sec." I can't believe that I'm finally spending a week away from home. At least it'll help to forget about the breakup between me and Sky.

      I mean how could I have allowed him to sweet talk me into believing that I was the only girl in his world and then suddenly make out with my best friend, Diana, on my birthday. Uuugghh! What a jerk!

     "Mia, what is taking you so long? The bus isn't gonna wait for you all day." I rolled my eyes at her without her knowing and picked up my bags. As I ran on my way out, my foot hit the door.  Could this day get any worse? As I got up on the bus, not only did I have to endure the pain in my left foot, but Diana was there smiling towards me as if nothing ever happened. What a bitch! No way was I gonna talk to her. "Don't worry Mia, you'll get through this. Just don't get near her." Mia whispered to herself.
Oh great, she's heading my way. I set all my bags and containers on my seat to let her know that it wasn't available. "Hey... Mia.. do you mind if I sit next to you?" Uhh... HELLO!! Do you not get that I don't want to be near you. I just ignored her.

      She sighed and went back to her own seat. "This is gonna be a long ride." I said to myself, not wanting to be on the same bus with someone like Diana.

Lucas's POV

     The girl was reaching for my hand..."Get up Lucas. We're gonna be late." My older brother Landon woke me up from the best dream I've ever had. I was about to hold the hand of the girl that was reaching for me.

      I went into the bathroom, washed my face and brushed my teeth. It was a relief that my mom helped packed my clothes for the summer camp we are having. I felt in my guts that these few weeks of camp will change my life.
