Chapter Two

(Devil may cry - Dante POV)

The bleeding sun slowly descended far west creating a bright red sky. Dante and Aeon moved farther into the city with night slowly following behind, the cries of demons dominated most part of the street, their voices filled the air, celebrating the death of the sun.

'why are they so happy?' Dante asked

'they're vampires, creatures cursed from the sun's presence' Aeon replied

'vampires eh' Dante sighed, his pale white hair appeared reddish under the evening sun.

'they were once humans' Aeon said as they walked through the streets, 'once you're bitten by a blue blood you'll lose your spirit and with it, your sanity. Becoming nothing more than empty sacks of flesh with an uncontrollable thirst for blood.'

'vampires' Dante implied

'yes. We're here' Aeon said

they both stood in front of a gigantic church gate, statues of angels were mounted at the outer corners of the walls.

'a church?' Dante asked

'yeah' Aeon replied

'figures'

Aeon knocked on the gates and in a few seconds they slowly began opening. Dante could hear a voice murmuring at the other side of the gate, it appeared to be complaining about something.

'you're finally back' said a young man who seemed to be approaching his twenties, he had chubby cheeks and a slightly overweight body

'yes Rob, I'm back' Aeon replied

'whoa! You brought company' Rob said, slightly shocked for he had earlier been lost in his own troubles to notice the blond haired man standing beside Aeon

'Dante, this is Robin. Robin, Dante.' Aeon answered

'nice to meet you' Dante said

'Dad's gonna kill you when he finds out' A girl said, walking out of the inner cathedral. She looked about the same age with Robin

'well, Griffin's not around and Dante is different. He kinda saved my life' Aeon replied

'yeah, he saved you from running away' she said

'mona, you're being a hater' Robin whispered

'no I'm not. Captain Roy' she yelled

'kids! I just need to make a call. Trish would definitely figure this out' Dante interrupted

'who's he calling a kid' Mona whispered to herself

'a call?' Robin asked

'it's a long story' Aeon replied, 'we'll figure it out inside' he said as he walked into the compound

as Dante stepped past the gates his face suddenly went ablaze forcing him out of the church.

'you're a Demon!' Mona screamed, the air around her grew cold as blue ice quickly formed around her hands. Robin made his way into the cathedral while Aeon pulled out his blade.

'I can explain' Dante replied

'there are no explanations' Mona yelled

'Aeon, listen to me' Dante said

'he's a demon, Aeon' Robin yelled

'hmmm' Dante sighed, shaking his head. 'I'll find my way. Thanks for the help' he turned around and slowly began walking away

'go East' Aeon said

'hmm'

'go east, it'll lead to Smysra. Maybe someone there can help'

Bleach - kaname Tosen POV

A scaly dog-like creature winced on the ground as thick black blood poured from both its legs which appeared to be severely wounded

'weak trash' Yammy yelled before releasing a red beam from his hand, completely obliterating the beast, turning it into nothing but dust

'isn't that a bit much' Tosen said, retuning his blade back in its sheath, his white pupil-less eyes stared at the sky as though they could see

'Aizen said there are beast here more powerful than any in las noches. So far, they are all trash' Yammy replied

'it's a pity you cant feel it, Aizen sama felt it all the way from hueco mundo. There are powers as great as the Hogyoku in this dimension'

'hmmm' Yammy sighed, his broad chest tore through his white shirt as he walked towards kaname Tosen. 'Point me in their direction'

'Dont overestimate yourself, Arrancar diez!' Tosen replied in a stern tone, walking past the ashes while Yammy followed behind.
