Prologue
For you, it felt awkward and uncomfortable in Japanese Mythology. You only signed up because your sister, Yui, suggested it. You couldn't say no to that sweet face of hers. But even if you regretted the decision so much, you couldn't drop the class so fast.
See, the reason why you didn't like the class was because you don't like stuff like mythology and Gods. Well, you didn't believe in Gods. Gods and Goddesses don't exist. They don't. No matter what anyone tells you, nothing made you believe in them.
It was weird though. Your family owned a shrine dedicated to Gods. Shouldn't you believe in the Gods too, just like your family? But you didn't.
People always look to much to a higher power when they need it ,and you could believe that just being relying on someone with heavenly power. The idea itself was stupid no one could solve problems with the snap of there fingers life didn't work out that way, yet everyone would go give offerings to their 'Gods'. You knew there were stories about different Gods with how they came to be something like that sounded too far fetched. Everyone wanted to believe in a higher power then do what they can themselves.
Nothing is gained in believing that a powerful being like that exists; you knew for yourself trying to fathom there being another higher power was crazy, yet you could understand why people still thought they existed. Everyone had there own opinions to believe in things that helped them sleep at night.
"Just silly waste of time praying to a false Gods." You scoffed in distaste, sitting at the bench enjoying mini cookies snacks, yet if you could only find reasonable excuse to drop the class maybe you wouldn't disappoint your fraternal twin by finding a different class. Everyone recently even your family had been worried about the change into you from the accident that almost took Yui's life, and how they reminiscence from the olds on how you would help out the shrine.
A small chuckle left your lips imagining yourself praying to some 'God' who supposedly could protect you or Yui
there was no divine intervention when she could've died that rainy night. The one that saved your sister was you, not a god of a small speck of divine miracles that horrible day, but you knew their was a possibility you could've died from the car accident. It was only a shed of luck that managed to save you on that day though parents and Yui sang praises to the shrine for keeping you from death's door.

A pair of golden eyes in a world apart from [Name]'s gaze down at her with a curious stare as a slight smirk in amusement graced his lips, but his gaze held wisdom beyond that of any mortal being. It was a very rare sight indeed to come across one mortal with the strange views you possessed, not only that it made the King of Gods curious whom could have drastically change your beliefs. Was it something more horrific that places such ill thoughts on our existence? It would interesting to see the reaction of someone whom has no faith in Gods to help this girl.. Yet at the same time show they could learn from another that is completely different from they expect.
Amidst the elder God's thoughts as he rested his palm against his cheek, watching you finishing your snack before heading back up to the temple. He had the perfect idea a clever plan began to form in his mind while watching you walk up the shrine steps then shifting his vision else spotting the purple hair that belong to your sister began to call out to as she was heading down the shrine steps.
'Yui, quickly this way!'
The wheels of fate were already dancing to his tune as he caught sight of Yui running towards the call, catching [Name]'s attention curiously to see where she was headed before running after her worriedly. Quickly following in the direction she was headed to with concerned evident on her expression as she called out to numerous time. Your shouts were ignored and sensing something feeling incredibly off about what your sister was doing, you sprinted to catch up with her to wherever she was heading towards.
"How strongly will you deny our existence young [Name] when you witness it for yourself."
