A one of a kind Pokemon who has a human form has been searching for their mate since the beginning of time. Only when their mate is found can they truly live and have a chance at happiness.

"Yeah right," I scoffed to myself when I slammed the 'Pokemon Legends' book shut on the table because what was in there was a load of nonsense that some people actually believed. I have no idea why I was reading it for the past half an hour, I guess it was because I was bored.

A Pokemon in a human form, how absurd is that? If it's the only one of it's kind, how will it have a mate? Unless.............. No, that's impossible. A Pokemon can't have a mate, that would be unnatural and no one would allow it. It's just a myth or made up, there is no way there is an immortal Pokemon out there but it would be cool to see if there was.

"Wigglytuff," a cute voice pulled me out of my thoughts. I looked over to Wigglytuff who was on her way over to me with a tray of food for my lunch as usual and for all my Pokemon too with extra plates.

"Thank you Wigglytuff," I said with a smile as I took the tray and placed it on the table. After, I stroked the pink fairy type Pokemon on the head and she beamed. I've had Wigglytuff for a year now since I moved out of my parents house. Mom sent her to me to take care of me. Wigglytuff loves to help in any way she can which is why Mom gave her to me, now Wigglytuff is mine. She does my washing, cleaning, ironing and cooking just like my Mom used to. I could do all that myself but Wigglytuff insists she do it all and gets angry if I try to help her.

"Where are you going?" I asked when Wigglytuff began to walk away. "Aren't you hungry?"

"Tuff," Wigglytuff agreed before turning back and taking the seat beside me. I handed her a plate of food and she got stuck in.

"Froakie, Meowstic," I called out to my Pokemon. They had both run off to the garden to train together.

I have only been able to catch 2 Pokemon as a child because I never went anywhere without my parents and I wasn't that interested in catching many as I was happy with the Pokemon my parents had. When I grew up, I didn't attempt to catch anymore Pokemon and haven't recently either because I am always so busy with work and when I have time off, I like to relax or train with Froakie and Meowstic. Like today, my boss gave me the day off. I am a miner, I look for gold in the mines with the help of onyx the rock type Pokemon. Onyx is my work partner. Without him, it would take ages to find any gold.

Being a miner wasn't a job I was looking for. I just stumbled across the mining job when I was eighteen and now 3 years later, I haven't looked back. I enjoy my job, the pay is good and helped me get my own place. My parents helped with money which I am grateful for and visit them whenever I can.

It wasn't long before I heard a 'Kikifro', 'Meow', 'Chespipin' and 'Pikapi' all together. I guess Chespin and Pikachu will be joining us for lunch which isn't a surprise when they come over every day. I got four plates ready for them and placed them down by which time the 4 Pokemon had joined Wigglytuff and I at the table.

"How was your training?" I asked but got no answer as the four of them were busy stuffing their faces with food. Typical Pokemon. When they have food in their sights, nothing else matters.
