Chapter 1

"Hey guys, I've got a special surprise!" Alisson said as We walked through the doors of the umbrella academy. Just then everybody came down the stairs as Diago and Luther flooded out of the living room. "Oh my god!" Vanya said as she excitedly ran towards me. She crashed into me giving me a big warm hug. "Oh my god it's been so long!" Vanya said as she pulled away with a smile. "Hey," Diago said as he came up and hugged me. "Hey I replied before he pulled away from the hug. "She is going to be staying with us for a while," Alisson told everyone. "Stay for as long as you want," Luther said with a sincere tone. "Thanks," I replied. "She can stay in five's room," Vanya said. "Where is five?" I asked them. "He's been gone for a week. "He said that he needed to take care of things," Vanya said. "We don't know when he's coming back,"Alisson added. "Okay," I replied. "Come on, I show you to your room," Alisson said as she picked up my bags. I followed her up the stairs before looking back at everybody with a smile and waving back at them.

I followed her up the stairs and into Five's room. "Here," she said as she put my bags down on the floor in front of the door. "Thanks I said before she stopped at the door. "Do you need anything else? She asked. "No thanks," I said with a smile before she turned and left. I then saw my hands glow purple. "What is happening to me?" I mumbled to myself before hearing a voice come from the door. "Oh, my god," my hands suddenly stopped glowing and I quickly turned around to see Klaus standing there. "Hey best friend!" He said with a smirk. "Klaus!" I said with excitement as I ran over to him and gave him a big hug.

"I missed you!" he said. "I missed you too," I said to him. We talked and goofed around until it was late. "Well It's getting late, I should get to bed," I said to him. "You're right. See you tomorrow," He said before getting up and heading over to the door. He turned around and blew me a kiss and I did the same with a giggle before he exited the room.

As I was getting ready for bed I shut off the lights and got into bed. Around 1am I was wide awake. I layed in bed and stared at the ceiling until I saw a flash of light come from out in the hall. I quickly sat up and got out of bed. I walked over to the door and peeked into the hall to see a figure of a boy standing there. "5?" I questioned as he quickly turned around to face me. He looked at me confused until he finally recognised me. "Melonie?" he said as walked to each other and hugged each other. "What are you doing here this late?" he asked, pulling away from the hug. "I'm staying here for a while because of some family issues." I told him. 5 and I have always been close when we were little. We even had a little wedding in the backyard.

"I was gonna stay in your room since you weren't here, but now that you are I could sleep on the couch," I said looking down. "No It's okay, you can sleep in there," he said. There was a moment of silence before I punched him in the arm. "OW! What was that for?" he asked. "That was for

going and getting stuck in the future for years." I said before hugging him again. "And this is because I missed you like crazy," I said before letting go of him as he let out a chuckle. "Oh and you are welcome to stay with me. We are married after all," I said with a smile. "I haven't forgotten our wedding day," he said with a chuckle. "Shall we?" he said, holding out his hand. "We shall" I said, taking his hand and walking back into his room with smiles on our faces.
