Chapter 6: Poison?

Aidana was in her little home, until she heard a loud scream. What's going on? She thought.

She hurried outside to see. There was the Tellun's Pride II, (get it?) And it was being attacked! Oh no! But the worst thing was... Aidana sucked in her breath. Rollan, her son, falling from the ship.

"NO!"

Later, in Aidana's house, she helped the Four Heroes of Erdas.

"Okay, now, I will cook up some stew to get yourself over the shock." Said Aidana. "I learned about herbs, and I know just the thing to help you."

"Can I help?" Asked Conor.

"Yes."

                              Le Time Skip cuz, why not?

The herb Aidana had put in their stew was a dark green leaf  that was pointed in, well, many corners.

"Does it taste good?" Asked Aidana.

"Yes." Said the children, except for Rollan, who was still chewing thoughtfully.

"I don't know, Mom," said Rollan. "It tastes a bit sour, for some reason."

Oh, and also, Conor was helping to put herbs in the stew with Aidana.

Aidana looked concerned. "Rollan," she said. "What color did it look like?"

Rollan's POV

Rollan remembered the herb. It was dark green, like the others, yet so dark it was almost black. He told his mother the description of the herb.

Aidana looked more worried. Conor looked concerned. Abeke looked a bit thoughtful, like a thought just came over her mind. Meilin was staring wide-eyed at Rollan.

"Rollan..." started Aidana "How do you feel..?"

Now, to think of it, Rollan felt pretty tired.

"I feel.. a little bit sleepy." He admitted.

Abeke raised her head suddenly, as the edges of Rollan's eyesight started to darken.

"I knew it!" She cried. "I think something was wrong with the herbs in Rollan's stew!"

Aidana took a deep breath, exhaled, and the last words Rollan heard before his vision became black and he collapsed were,

"Someone has poisoned my son!"
