«Twenty Five»

Seungmin was eating in silence as hyunjin kept sighing and unintentionally playing with his food. Chan noticed and asked hyunjin what happened. He didn't respond and just got up with his tray and walked away.

Seungmin looked at him walking away and immediately became worried. 'Oh no what if he got mad at me' he thought to himself as his anxiety wad rising. 'Why am I avoiding him anyway' seungmin's facial expression turned into a confused one.

He shrugged it off and tried to avoid thinking of it as he ate his food. Chan grew concerned since he had an idea of how much the two boys liked each other but today they were suddenly ignoring each other.

"Hey don't you think something seems suspicious between seungmin and hyunjin?" Chan whisper-asked felix beside him. "Oh yeah they do kinda look suspicious" felix said realising with food in his mouth. "Also hyung I was I a room with seungmin but I secretly changed it with hyunjin so me and you are together now" felix said smiling.

"You better sleep early or-" "okay okay I'll sleep early" said chan cutting felix off before he could spill out any threat with his hands in the air.

Everyone was gathered together in one spot for the next activity announcement. "The next event will be a treasure hunt" said the speaker. Everyone cheered and divided themselves into pairs. Seungmin and Hyunjin didn't pair up with each other which was unusual.

The hunt started and everyone rushed into the area where the treasure was said to be buried. Some pairs were splitting up, some running together and some started fighting, it was overall very chaotic but not with seungmin.

Seungmin was unknown to his partner and was not speaking even a bit. His partner was trying to get his attention but it wasn't working so he lost interest and went away.

Seungmin wondered off with no one in sight in his surroundings still lost deep in his own thoughts. Turns out he had entered the woods. He snapped out of his thoughts as soon as he almost tripped on something. He thought it was a rock but he realised what it was when he looked at it.

'The dirt is not set and it's raised, what if' he thought to himself and started removing the dirt from the top of the hard thing that made him trip. He took out the object and dusted some of the dirt off. He immediately smiled because he actually found it.

He looked around to go back but realised he was lost. Before he felt it, it had started pouring. He rushed to find a shelter and found a cave. He sat there all alone with not even his phone with him.

Due to rain, students had been instructed to come back and go back to their rooms. Every student except for seungmin came back. As expected all his friends got worried. The staff tried to look for him but he wasn't found anywhere near.

Hyunjin started thinking for the worse and grew even more worried than he was. Since the staff couldn't find seungmin he decided to do it himself.

He went in when the staff weren't looking and ran straight. He called out seungmin's name a bunch of times but no response. He had run a good distance when he realised he was in the woods.

He walked slowly looking around. After what seemed like a few minutes he spotted some unusual ground. The dirt was dug up and there were footsteps but they were barely visible due to the rain.

He walked into the direction of the footsteps and called out seungmin's name. "Minnie, minnie where are you" he said a bit loud so that it could be heard. He freezes when he heard a muffled voice calling out for him.

He ran once again and arrived at an opening in the ground where he saw seungmin sitting there visibly shaking. He rushed to him and kneeled down next to the boy.

"Minnie what happen are you okay?" He asked putting his hand on seungmin's forehead feeling extreme heat on his skin. "Oh- jinnie you're here" seungmin said weakly smiling. "I'm here and I wont leave you" he said taking the younger one into his arms in attempt to warm him.

After about estimated half an hour the rain finally stopped. Hyunjin helped seungmin come out of the small cave. "Jinnie I found the treasure can we please take that?" Seungmin asked looking into the older's one's eyes.

Hyunjin couldn't resist him and took the box with him. They walked towards the camp site and were greeted with towels covering them as soon as they were seen. The school staff were seen talking with police officers.

After everything had been taken care of hyunjin and seungmin were resting in their room. "Jinnie" seungmin suddenly spoke up breaking the silence. "Yes?" Hyunjin asked him. "I'm sorry for avoiding you the whole day" he said feeling guilty. "I'm sorry the day was ruined because of me" he said in continuation.

Hyunjin just walked to the latter's bed and sat down. He sighed and continued to speak. "Minnie, the day was not ruined I was just confused on why you were avoiding me. Also, mind telling me why you were ignoring me?"  Hyunjin asked seungmin.

The younger boy sat up and signed. "IAccidentalypickedupyourphonewhenyourexcalledandIfeltawkwardthewholedayanddidn'twannatellyousoItriedavoidingyouI'msosorry" seungmin said in one breath. "What?" Hyunjin asked him even though he fully heard what the latter said.

"I said-" seungmin was cut off a pair of lips on his own lips. He immediately gave in and kissed back. His arms went around the older one's neck and hyunjin arms went around his torso. It was a slow, soft and sweet kiss.

They broke apart and smiled at each other. Seungmin's cheeks red and hyunjin heart beating. "Do you feel a bit better now?" The older one asked. "Yeah thank you for taking care of me" seungmin said hugging hyunjin.

Just then hyunjin's phone started ringing again.
