It sucked.

You know having to stay in because of the stupid rain. You normally loved the rain, but you hated thunderstorms. They would always ruin your fun. With rain you can go outside and have fun, not in a thunderstorm. You have to be stuck inside to be 'safe'. Your parents were on a business trip, and were going to be away for work since they mostly go to country to country. This time they were in Cuba. (Shout out to all my Cubans and Hispanics out there) You were extremely bored. You would have called your friends over...if you had some. Well you did have one. He was your neighbor. Hanta Sero. He too was also an only child. You two as children were inseparable. Your mothers actually were childhood friends as well so when your parents moved back to their home town in Musutafu, Japan they moved in right next to the Sero's. You didn't want to bother him right now. You have to admit you have been crushing on the wannabe taping hero. You never knew was it was exactly you just knew you liked him. Ever since you were a child he would always stand up for you. He never looked down on you, and always made sure you knew how much you were worth it. He helped you through your first breakup, first drivers test, first lose tooth. He was everything you wanted. You also couldn't help but notice how much he's changed from his skinny little boy body to a nicely built guy.

The rain kept getting louder and louder. You no longer wanted to be by yourself. Deciding to call Sero took a while since you honestly felt bad that your were bothering him.

*ring ring*

"Hey Y/N!!"

You giggled at his enthusiasm to speak to you.

"Hey Sero! How are you?"

"I'm good! I was gonna go out with my friends from UA but the rain wasn't cooperating.what about you? How have you been?"

"I'm good just-AH!"

The power went out...great just great.

"Y/N? You ok??"

"Hm yeah I'm ok. My power just went out."

"Oh if you want I can come over and get you?"

"Nah it's ok I don't want to be a burden."

He hung up on you. Not gonna lie that was pretty rude. You were in the dark, so you decided to go in your kitchen and get your emergency flashlight your parents keep for emergencies. Then you heard a knock. Walking to the door you see...Sero in car slippers and a jacket with an umbrella? "Sero!? What are you doing here it's freezing outside!" You scolded him. "Heh sorry..you didn't wanna come over to my house so I decided to come over to yours. Plus I kinda don't wanna be alone right now..." he said sheepishly. "Oh ok..well come in just leave your shoes outside." You lead him into the house. "Um do you want a blanket?" You said acknowledging that he was shivering a bit. "Huh? Oh yeah thanks.."

You both got comfortable on the couch and just sat there listening to to rain. Everythjng was calmly until thunder erupted in the sky and you flinched slightly hoping he wouldn't notice. A few minutes passed until Sero spoke up. "Are you afraid of thunderstorms Y/N?" He asked now facing you. "Heh yeah...a bit. I guess I just don't like how they sound. It's more like a shotgun sound to me and it just scares me I guess...I've been told it childish.." You said while playing with your bracelet on your wrist. "No no no not at all.. I mean if I'm being honest I'm kinda scared of them too." You two sat in a comfortable silence. It was nice..moments like these..hanging out with your best friend/crush. Although you came to the conclusion since Hanta went to UA he probably met some pretty chick that he liked so you thought you never really ever had a chance with him. Well as you would have never thought he actually had a major crush on you. In fact he told all of his closest friends at UA about you, including Denki Kaminari, Mina Ashido, Kyoka Jirou, Shoto Todoroki, and Ejirou Kirishima. His other friend Katsuki Bakugou got fed up with the boy being love sick and told him to confess his feelings already.

It was starting to get a bit awkward until...the power went back ok. "Thank goodness.." you said as you let out a relieved sigh. "Hey..Sero?" You asked looking at him now. "Yeah?" He replied. "If you want you can stay over..I mean I know we haven't had a sleepover in a while but we can just be here in the living room if you want....." You said droning your voice off quietly. "Actually that sounds like a great idea!" He got up and took your hand dragging you to the kitchen. Now rummaging through your pantry. It was normal so you didn't mind. "Uh Sero what are you doing?" He turned around and grabbed both of your hands in his. "We're going to make cake! You know like how we used to do in elementary school!" He then realized what he said. He cleared his throat and sent an apology. "S-Sorry I meant only if you want to.." He looked up at you now awaiting for your answer. "I would love to!" You said now with excitement in your eyes. You two spent the next 30 minutes making your famous chocolate and vanilla marble cake you used to make as kids. Although this time you really took the time to admire Sero. The way his corny smile could lift the mood in any situation. The way he treated everyone with so much respect. You really fell for him...you fell for him hard. He noticed you staring at him, "What do I have something on my face." He said as he tried wiping his face only to get the batter on the corner of his mouth. You laughed as you walked to the counter grabbed a napkin and walked up to him. "Your still messy as ever Hanta.." you said laughing. He loved your laugh. He loved the way that you would always go out of your way to help anyone in need, or the way you would make sure that everyone was safe before yourself. "You ok Hanta?" You asked, and then it happened. Something you never thought would happen. He kissed you...

He slowly pulled away noticing you didn't kiss back. He messed up, at least that's what he thought. "I-I'm so sorry! I just- shit- I'm so sorry-MHM!" He was cut off by you kissing him this time. He was freaking OUT! He slowly got used to it and put his hands on your waist pulling you slightly closer than you already were. On the other hand you were screaming internally. 'HOLY SHIT! HANTA JUST KISSED ME!! I'M KISSING HIM!! OMG
HE'S KISSING BACK!!'
You both slowly pulled away from each other now breathing a bit heavy front the lack of air. "So...I'm taking it that you like me back..?" Sero asked. "No." He looked at you now his face drained from all color. "Hanta I'm kidding!! Of course I like you back!" You said softly punching him in the arm. "Hey! Don't do that I was scared!!" After you two calmed down he picked you up and ran to the sofa sitting down. "...Y/N?" Sero asked. "Hm.." he held you closer and whispered in your ear, "How are we supposed to tell our parents about us." Your eyes shot open. Normally your parents would always tease you two about being perfect for each other. "Well I guess they get what they wish for." You hummed as you cuddled up to Sero on the couch.
