Y/N's P.O.V
I don't know where I'm going or what to do... my entire family is dead. Mom, Dad, Jasmine, Mia... why was I left behind? Why did that Titan show up? Why did it kick a hole through the wall? Why did that Titan run over my sister? Why? Why? WHY!?
"Y/N." I slowly turn to see Armin sitting beside with a worried look.
"Are you... are you okay?" He asked.
"Am I... okay?" I muttered before slowly looking away with dried tears on my face. "No... I'm not okay."
"What happened? Where's... your family?" He asked.
"Dead..." I muttered then looked back at the distant Shiganshina. "Because... of those Titans."
"I'm... I'm so sorry." He sympathized.
"I'm... all alone now." I muttered.
"No." He replied. "You're not alone... you have me."
'I'm... not alone? I have... a friend... I have... Armin.'
"... Thank you." I replied before looking down to my hands. "Thank you."
"It's okay... what are friends for." This slowly brought a small smile to my face as tears came out again.
Timeskip(Some time later)😐😐🤫
After some time we arrived at Trost and we were placed in shelters with nothing inside for the space for people to fit. I was luckily placed with Armin and his friends in a shelter. Night had fallen and almost everyone went to sleep except me.
I couldn't sleep because if I did then I'd immediately hear screams of agony and the sound of water or blood splashing on the floor, I would wake up hyperventilating and covered in sweat. I didn't enjoy it plus the cold hard floor felt uncomfortable.
I'm currently sitting against the wall with my legs hugging my chest in the darkness. It felt like I was sitting there for hours as people around me slept.
'What's gonna happen to me now?'
I look at a sleeping Armin.
'What's gonna happen to him now?'
I look beside me to see Mikasa sitting next to me.
'What's gonna happen to--'
My eyes widen in shock and I open my mouth to let out a scream but she quickly covered it then placed a finger on her lips, and I nodded in understanding.
"Jeez, you scared the hell out of me. How long have you been sitting beside me?" I questioned before looking at Eren who's asleep then back at Mikasa.
"I've been here the whole time. You're the one who sat next to me." Mikasa replied and my eyes widen in shock.
"Really?" I asked.
"I'm kidding." She said and a short silence fell between us.
"You're face says otherwise." I muttered then she shrugged.
'Seriously, who makes a joke with a straight face!?'
"So, you couldn't sleep too?" She asked and I nodded.
"Kept on hearing weird things... like people screaming." I replied.
"Are you okay?" She asked.
"... No. I'm not." I replied whilst staring on the floor.
"Why's that?" She asked.
"Everyone I love is gone. My mom, my dad, my older sister and my baby sister... all gone because of Titans." I responded.
