Chapter 5 - Fall For You

Ian P.O.V.

        It had been 2 weeks since veryone had found out that Kayla and I weren't actually together. It was weird, not having to put my arm aroung her whenever she was near, not having to meet up aat her locker between every class. But I was glad that we were done pretending. Kian is a stupid ship name anyway.(I'm sorry I had to xD)

        I had noticed that Kayla and Harry had been progressivly getting closer and spending more time together. I shook my thoughts of them, not wanting wanting to dwell on her weird relationship when mine was just as weird and messed up. I thought back to the first time I saw Liz. 

We were in 7th grade, and it was the first day of school. As I walked down the hallway, I saw a gorgeous girl talking to two other girls. I continues walking, too scared to go up and talk to her. Later I learned that we had a few classes together, and were on the same team. 

I was shocked that such a beautiful girl as her would even know my name, but we soon became friends, talking almost everyday. I learned that the two girls names were Soph and Kayla, and Liz loved football(soccer). Apparently, her older brother, Louis, was a famous player, and she had grown up playing the game with him. 

I always smiled at the small bits of information I would pull from the conversations. She wanted to play football professionally when she was older, and she loved music and YouTube. Especially one guy, Connor something. I was a bit jealous of her love for him, but I didn't admit it to her or to myself.

I was pulled out of my thoughts as the lunch bell rang. I went to my locker and put away my books, before walking to the lunch room.

As I got there, there was a small chicken salad on table, along with a container of ranch dressing. Kayla was eagerly grabbing the chicken from the salad, and Soph was eating at the letuce, but what drew my attention was Liz. 

She was scooping her fingers in the ranch and eating it straight from the container. She payed no attention to the salad as she ate the ranch with her hands, ranch dripping from her fingers as she repeatedly brought more of the ranch into her mouth. I almost reconsidered my crush on her as she dipped a slice of orange into the ranch before eating it, claiming that, "She couldn't taste the ranch, the acid of the orange must cancel it out." When the container was empty, she simply looked at it for a moment before grabbing it and the lid and licking them both clean. Everyone at the table was laughing, and it only got worse when small pieces of lettuce and other things in the salad went flying. Kayla almost lost it when Liz got a small piece of cheese and lettuce in her hair.

I chose the right girl, didn't I?

I smiled as the girls began cleaning up the mess they had made, Soph snorting and laughing at the antics of her best friend. Deeming it clear, I walked to the table and sat down my lunch, fairly hopeful that I wouldn't be hit with any wayward food.

I told you I was going to put it in the story xDD 

SO this was a bit of a dive into a bit of the beginning of Ian's crush on Liz, because why not.

Also, I think this is the longest chapter I've put up so far, so yay me :-)

Also, apparently this didn't upload on Wednesday?? So I'm taking it down, adding this, making a few word adjustments and stupid things, and I'm going to try to put  back up. Hopefully it will work this time :/
