My oppinion of the fanfics

WARING. THIS IS JUST MY OPPINION.

This is a big no-no. Like dude. is the fandom fvcking serious? I've seriously gagged at some of the fanfictions in this because of disgust. Why are they making 'x readers' whith dead characters? why are they making 'x readers' with people who are already taken in the show? Like, for example: Maggie and glenn. Fans will make an 'glenn x reader' or 'glenn x OC' but the problem is without maggie then the whole plot has to be changed, and yet again, if you're just replacing maggie with urself, itmakes no fvcking sense, bcs even if you recreate her actions by replacing maggie's name with 'Y/N' instead of her, then that's a waste cause it's like- exactly the same except for one word. And like- what abt beth? would u be her sister or not? And what about all the important scenes maggie was in? This is so confusing smh.

I've seen a lot of people in this fandom have a very unhealthy addictioon to 'daryl dixon' to the point of not just making 'daryl dixon x reader' but 'norman reedus x reader' Like a actual real person, all of these fanfics are classified as 'mature' which usually means there is smut or shit like that, and like i could maybe understand why u would do a sexual/romantic fanfic with Y/N or ur Oc abt daryl dixon, just maybe. But i do not understand why about the actor, like dude, that's a real life person... I think it's wrong in many ways cause it's voiolating the actors privacy and intruding his sex life, even if he hasn't shared many or non details  about his sexual life i still don't think it's something that you should be writing, especially when the person writing it is probably a child. And also like imagine norman reedus reading that stuff, because of his personality, i think he'd laugh at the 'x daryl dixon' im not sure abt the 'x norman reedus' though.

Apart from the 'daryl dixon x reader' and 'norman reedus x reader' I've also seen a bunch of 'carl grimes x reader' dude...WHAT. you're litterally making a fanfic with a CHILD  who is traumatized and acts older than he is. ARe you like- okay? Cause he also has this tension with Enid, so what u gonna do about her? exlude her? ignore all the important scenes where she is involved and carl too? Also, the fanfics about carl were written in abt 2016 most of them, some in 2017. In 2016 and 2017 carl grime's actor (chandler riggs) wasn't even an adult, like not even the actor... he was 16 and 17, you're making 'chandler riggs x readers' of a REAL person who actually exists. and worst part is ur not even making it abt the character he interpretates, you're straight up making a fanfic about a real person, this is wierd tbh.

I've also seen a lot of incest here, especially 'daryl x merle x reader' or 'merle x daryl' LIke- AYO what the actual phuck, that's illegal, just imagine the poor actors reading fanfics about them LMFAO-
