A/n: I'm might take the next week off due to finals and my birthday, hopefully I'll be back soon!
T/w: N/A
"So what are you gonna tell MJ?" Peter asked as we entered the school halls.

"I dunno, I mean. I've given up on trying to convince my mom, I tried the entire weekend but she didn't budge. Kept telling me the pros about the situation and barely acknowledged the fact I've gotten the life I've always wanted here..."

"Hey.." A dull and sleepy voice was heard from behind us, both of us equally startled. I turned to find MJ, speaking of the devil. Although she isn't exactly a devil...

"You guys look like you just saw a ghost, whats up?" Peter and I blankly stared at one another as if telepathically speaking to one another. I've got nothing.

"Just tell her..."

"I-"

"Y/n? Just tell me, it can't be that bad." Her eyebrows furrowed slightly as she leaned against her locker.

"I have to move back," I responded bluntly. "In June."

"I-I'm sorry, say that again?" A confused look plastered her face as she looked down then back at me. Biting her lip slightly before letting go.

"I'm moving..June."

"Oh..." Her head hung slightly as her mind wrapped around it. "Can I at least visit?" She gave me a small smile, in a hopeful sort of way.

"Of course you can, why would I say no?" I opened my arms to encourage a hug. She hugged me back quickly, not hesitating.

"I'll miss you, where are you going?" She asked as we headed to class, math.

"Portland, Oregon." My original home. The place I was 'born and raised' according to my mom growing up, till I was told I was adopted of course.

"That's far from here." She clutched her book close to her chest as we pushed our way past the crowds of students finding their own classes.

"I know." We walked inside and found our seats. Luckily we were sitting at the same table near the left side which was the most isolated spot in the class.

"Ned is gonna be devastated," She accentuated the words as she unpacked her materials. I sighed as I unpacked my own things and glanced at the board.

"He is, he was there when I told Peter..."

"How come I'm the last to know?" She rolled her eyes in an attempt to make me laugh. I allowed a puff of air to leave my body. Scoffing before telling her.

"Technically I still have to tell a few people," I admitted.

"Who?"

"Cami and Lizzie, they were my friends back 'home.' They'll be happy to see me."

"Of course, who wouldn't be happy to see you?"

"Victoria, she was the Flash of my old school."

"Well tell this Victoria girl to fight me, you don't deserve any hate."

"Thanks but she's- awful, don't waste your time on her."

"Okay..."

"Hello class, I hope you all had a nice weekend, let's start!" She began before passing out papers to everyone. "You can ask your tablemates for help and work together but please do so quietly...

MJ and I finished somewhat early, as expected when it came to us working together. Though Peter and Ned did manage to finish first. I snuck my phone out, hovering it in my bag and beginning to type away. The teacher didn't mind too much as long as we finished our work.

"Let me guess? Your friends from Portland?" MJ guessed the first try as we stepped out of the classroom. Swinging our bags over our shoulders in sync.

"Yeah, I think they took it well, considering everything." I emphasized, making sure she understood while no one else can. Life decided to use me as a punching bag and while I've gotten used to it I still consider it private and personal.

"Considering everything that's happened I think this is the most normal thing that's happened to you."

"No, the most normal thing that's happened to me is school and bullies and bad cafeteria food..."

"Noted."
