srry i'm bck.

Cory

Cory stood back and eyed at the dark green 1998 Nissan Altima. Some naïve woman bought a car online for cheap and didn't think much about the maintenance of the car and how much it'll be to fix it.

she stood there with big bulky sun glasses covering her eyes while holding a baby boy.

he looked to be about 10 months.

she wore gray biker shorts and matted furry slides that you'll find at the beauty supply store. her toes were white & manicured to perfection as well as her hands with the minor exception of a broken acrylic nail on her index finger.

"how old are you?" he asked out of curiosity.

she had a grown woman body carrying a baby however, judging by her baby face he figured that she was just a baby herself.

"20." she answered smartly. "why?" she asked rolling her eyes.

Cory kept his composure, he didn't argue with customers especially women.

"your folks didn't teach you about mileage? the more miles on your car the more maintenance ."

"so can you fix the car or not?" she replied whilst ignoring his question.

he squinted his eyes at her, "of course i can but judging by your tone i don't think you want me to fix that bad."

"sorry... I had a long day." she sighed while switching her baby to the other side of her hip.

"what that gotta do with me? look, I can fix it, it'll be a little pricey though."

"well throw me a price and I'll see what I can do." she stated. "don't pocket watch."

"aye— if you gone be wanting my help you better watch how you come at me." he snapped.

she was a little taken aback but mustered up an apology fast.

he popped open her hood— it had a 3.0 L v6 engine. with close examination it was obvious to him that she needed a new transmission which in itself costs about $600 minus the repair.

"about 1200 dollars." he answered taking his work gloves off.

the girl furrowed her eyebrows, she lifted her sunglasses for a split second to get a better look at the mechanic. he stood there looking handsome as ever to her. she shifted the baby to the other side of her hip once again since her arm started to get tired.

her eyes bulged, "i-." but then she thought up a plan. what if she let him do her whole car and then not pay him?

"it's pricey— like i said but since I see you're single mother i-."

"no, i can pay it no problem." she said bouncing her baby up and down.

Cory squinted his eyes but immediately made his face normal again.

"soo when will it be ready?" she asked pulling her glasses up to the top of her head.

Cory noticed a faint bruise under her eye as if she got into a fist fight a day or two ago.
